Well had another round here just after Christmas and most things are still the same as my last report.

7th Hole was out of action due to the green being in poor condition which meant the 17th was split into a short par 4 and medium par 3.

1st Green was terrible and wouldn’t be surprised if it was unplayable at the time of writing this.

Pro Shop was a bit more stocked this time.

If you are in Toowoomba and they can sort there 2 problem holes out then it is definitely worth playing particularly at $12 for a visitor to play in the comp.

Course was in good nick and improved again since I last saw it.

Wandered up the range to play here on Easter Sunday.

$12 to play in the Open comp which started the day off with a smile. Course was in good nick except for the greens which looked like mini grenades had been set off all over them. I think a divot repair tool with instructions on how to use it may be handy at this course. I could have been there all day repairing fresh divot marks from previous groups that had been through before us.

Bunkers were GUR as Twmba received 40mm or something the night before so no idea on them but had forgotten how much the red dirt gets into everything. Childhood memories came flashing back.

Guys I played with were great. It is great to meet new people who enjoy their golf.

I agree with the last review. It does have a lot of back and forth holes but saying that I did really enjoy the day and will go back for sure.

Pro Shop wa a bit sparse but it is still recovering after the tsunami that went through Twmba.

All in all a good day in the sun in Twmba and will definitely be back.

This is not as hilly as it looks from the club house and can be walked relatively easily. It is an unusual course in that the front nine has 3 par 3s and no par 5s, so 33 out and 37 back for a par 70 for Men. For the ladies it is still 33 out but 39 back for a par 72, with holes 16 to 18 all being par 5s.

The course was in good condition with both fairways and greens well grassed. Because of the unusual layout it is difficult to rate, the par 3s were interesting, but too many of the par 4s run back and forth side by side.

We played in the midweek comp and the fees were reasonable ($28). Normal green fees are $40 per round.

A reasonable course to play and worth a game, although if you only have time for one game in Toowoomba we would recommend the Middle Ridge course instead.

this is a great course to play on and is up there with some of the better brisbane courses. They are very inviting club. with verious hole it is challenging and with great lush fairways it would suggest this to any one.

a fantastic course that does not have the biggest fairways but this is good because it makes it challenging. With the front nine reletivily straight forward the back nine is completly different. good greens but beware they mowe on mondays.

This is a great course to play. Although a few holes are up and down fairways, this course boasts the best greens in the region. They require a keen eye and a steady hand to avoid walking away with three putts. A lot of course refurbishments have improved the water situation and the entire course is now in fantastic condition.

When you say Country you think dirt track but the TCGC was anything but a Dirt track.

Yes the area has been hit buy water issues but overall it was a very nice outing.

This is another course that does not allow for poor Tee Shots. Greens were a bit ordinary but remeber Water Shortages People!!!!

Overall, a nice outing in the Country...

This course is the second of the 18 hole golf courses in Toowoomba. A nice a green and lush course usually but the lack of sustainable water has hit this course hard. As it still remains second behind the Middle Ridge course.

The clubhouse at this course is the major standout. A wonderulf layout and atmosphere including bars, pro shop, dining area, conference rooms and gaming areas. It is a must see. The eating area looks out over the 18th green.

Recourse reconstruction has adjusted the layability of the golf course at the moment but definitely has one of the shortest par 5's I have ever seen.

Still a very enjoyable round of 18 hole golf to be had. A must try!!

One of 2 18 hole layouts in Toowoomba. This course has a magnificent clubhouse and is generally keept in excellent condition. It has seen some fairly major reworking over the past 3 years and looks in great nick at the moment. However I find the course to be somewhat boring to play as it is fairly straight up and back. It's position is very central to Toowoomba City (as the name would suggest) and is built on some fairly hilly ground.

The front nine is reasonably straight forward with no major hills or gullies to worry about except for the 170m uphill par 3 2nd and the downhill par 4 3rd. The back nine iss a different bowl of goldfish altogether with the 10th being a par 5 which is uphill from tee to green and will leave you gasping for breath before you reach for the putter. Once past this you are again left with up & back golf through to the closing 3 holes that are either up or down hill. This culminates with a long downhill par 4 with large bunkers right in the driving zone. Your second shot requires you to carry a creek to try to reach a well bunkered green situated right in front of the huge windows of the clubhouse bar.
