Measures 6104m Par 72 from the back plates with 4 Par 3s ranging from 130-160m, 10 Par 4s ranging from 330-400m and four Par 5s ranging from 440-505m. Not bad greens and teebeds, but fairways as with most Tasmanian golf courses can not cope with the melting of the frosty mornings, and have very slushy areas with makes ball striking a little frustrating.
Most holes are basically the same tee to green shots with many bunkerless greens with slight doglegs to make you think a little, but can all do with many more bunkers and more hazards in general. The course lacks any real challenges for the advanced golfers, but will be very challenging for the social. Best hole is probably the 158m 5th with the only water hazard on the course. But too many similar length holes with no real thought in layout.
Played here 21/7/06 and paid $25 for 18 holes. Average looking clubhouse, may be back in Tassie, but will look for Devonport or even some 9 holers around for a challenge.
