This nine was probably my favourite many years ago with a mix of testing holes and some that by todays standard are pretty mundane. It is certainly dated in respect of the fairway grasses and does not measure up well when compared to modern couches. It is in reasonable nick but there are quite a few areas that are in need of loving attention.

The pro may mix up the nines you play here so it may be you don't get a choice to play this nine, but it is probably the most aesthetically pleasing of the three. From memory it's also the shortest, with a couple of par fours driveable for the long (but straight!) hitters.
