It is hard to play early Sunday morning except for special day, like Mother day or long weekend. I love this course and has played there 3 times and has played all 27 holes.

The best part of this course is the fact that it is 27 holes, so it most likely that you will get on any time during the week, it also easy to walk and being out of sydney helps.

This is a nice course. Being a 27 holer, it is usually very busy on the weekend with social clubs, etc. Some of the par 4s are good birdie chances, even the par 5s off the social tees are potential eagle putts. I’ve found the greens and fairways to generally be quite good. Clubhouse is very good, big pokie area and room for functions, etc. All carts have GPS setups – very good.

Have played this course a number of times both in comp and social and have to say it is the worst i have seen it whilst the greens and tees are in good condition the fairways are disgusting it is impossible to tell fairway from rough 30cm preferred lies in play personally i do not think rain alone will help the course as the "fairways" have become rutted and uneven and look like they will need top dressed, strange thing is most of the dams on course are full?, on the whole very disappointing at its best camden valley is a good tough layout but at the moment, well lets just say i have never hit the ball 280-300m but i did today on a few occasions 2 balls for the tees and greens

Boy what a boring course...

i live local so have been playing here for years and have not seen the course improve very much.

Obviously because of the drought conditions in Sydney the course has been tested, but... the rough is disgraceful.

I dont mind a tough lie but to be on bare patches surrounded by Parramatta grass is unfair.

The course lacks imigination and goes up and down hill

Best part of the course are the greens. No matter what time of year you will get the best greens in Western Sydney.

All of the courses that IâÄôve played in Sydney in the past few months have been in pretty ordinary condition. The reasons are obvious, but of them all, Camden Valley staff have done better then most. The tees, greens and lie-up areas are all in reasonable condition. The fairways are dry and there are bare patches, but thatâÄôs inevitable given the circumstances

Obviously the more critical reviews of this course are a little out of date now. The course presented reasonable value for money. The layout has some variety, without falling into the novelty trap as other more modern course have.

It is a bit up and down, but adds to the course. The only criticism I really have is some of the noise from Camden Valley way on the first half of the middle 9. This could be dissipated a little with trees, earth bunds, or even a noise barrier.

Generally a good course and good on them for continuing to allow social play on a Saturday and Sunday morning, when every other course in western Sydney has turned their back on us.

This course presents a challenge for all forms of golfer. The fairways and greens are always in pristine condition, there are many tricky holes on this course but it is a open and wide course which is great for long hitters but it is forgiving enough if you do stray fron the fairways.

The Pro Staff are always very helpful and go out of there way to make your day enjoyable.

This course is a must to play if your out that way.

I play this course about 8 times a year as a member of a thriving social club.

The course is always well presented and in good condition. The course presents a challenge to all levels of golfer and the 27 holes provides great variety. The course is well managed by the workers in the pro shop and are amenable to late changes in group numbers given about 4 or 5 days notice. I play better on this "A" grade course than some other clubs we play at. The 15th is the best hole on the course closely followed by the 2nd.

Having taken up golf on holiday o/s on coming back in March I have played at all the golf courses out sth west of Sydney, and found this club to be the best best value membership, so I joined and I did use tee talk and found it very helpful on my first few rounds.

Staff in Club and pro shop are helpful and friendly, all the members I have played with or met are very friendly.

As for the course it has some intersting holes which can catch you out if your not on your game, has several tricky par 3's and several good par 4's and 5's.

The greens and fairways are in great condition.

Well worth the drive out.

My wife and I found this to be a wonderful course to play -45min from Sydney but feels like a country getaway. Played the 1st 18 holes and most of the time was out of sight/earshot from roads & traffic. A wide, open course with many good opportunites for the straight, long hitter, and some forgiveness for those not so straight off the tee. Sloping fairways were firm (but not hard), and you get plenty of roll. I usually get around 250m with the driver but I had 2 holes where I made 300m+ off the tee today. This makes things interesting because you really need to calculate the bounce/roll direction into your tee shot.

I found the greens slower than expected, but they were consistent and in good nick. Fairway condition also good - there were a few bare patches but they were out of play. Water placement is mostly decorative, but there are a few holes that force you to think your way over/around it. Payed only $35 today(Sunday) which is more than fair value considering what you pay elsewhere for lesser courses in Sydney. A 2-for-1 deal with the Golf Course Guide made it even sweeter! Definitely worth the drive!

As a loyal member of this course, I'll spring to it's defence.

While there is a motel on site, this is not a resort course in the style of the Gold Coast courses. But it's a very fair course; if you play well, your score will reflect that, if you play badly, this course will catch you out.

27 holes mean there is some variation to be enjoyed for the regular player. The 'third' nine is easier and shorter than the other two, but still demands respect.

The fairways are fairly wide for the most part, so the big hitter can open the shoulders a bit, but they should be prepared to be penalised for errant shots about 75% of the time, either by big and ugly trees or cunningly placed water hazards on the 2nd nine in particular.

My favourite holes: 11th, a downhill par 4 of 390 metres, that usually plays 2 clubs short of it's length. Out of bounds and trees on the right at the 240 metre mark, trees short on the left and a water hazard 220 metres away for those afraid of out of bounds. The green slopes severely left to right, so forget about an up and down from the left bunker. Drive it in the middle, or write down a big score.
15th, a tantalising risk and reward 470 metre par 5, over a hill then down to a green with a big pond right in front of it. Shorter hitters like me lay up with a 7 iron then chunk a sand wedge into the water. If you take the extra club and go over the back, up and down in two is a major problem.

The clubhouse is beautifully placed on the top of a hill with fabulous views past Narellan and all the way to Razorback Ridge and the Blue Mountains, but you have to climb this hill on holes 9 and 18. The fragile or badly unfit should consider hiring a cart.

This is a better than average Sydney suburban course, and good fun to play on a regular basis.

This is no "A" Grade course. Sure it has some nice holes, but overall it is pretty pathetic. The Membership fee would probably be fair if that was all you had to pay, but now you must pay an additional $5 fee per round to play this course. Which if you like to play 2-3 times per week, makes being a member here very much unworthwhile.

While the club wastes money on trivial upgrades like TEETALK which gives useless information about sponsors and about each hole. (It doesn't even get used.)

They need to put more money into the actual course and not crappy little fads like this.

I won't be renewing my membership this year.

Fairly boring layout, especially the 3rd nine. Not very punishing on the drive or approach shots.

Condition of the course average. Too much paspalum around the greens.
