we played in a 3 and it was a very enjoyable day, great course and no one else around as it was the week end prior to christmas.
staff was very helpful.
we were very surprised that we couldn’t find a sand bucket anywhere. none on the buggys or on any of the T-boxes, felt guilty whenever we left divots. One of us rode up to the club house and asked but NO sand buckets.

Course was great, but the staff in the pro shop should get a lesson in hospitality and making clients welcome. That stopped me having lunch there ,having said that, it was a pleasur e to play!

Hi Good resort course, still in great condition, letdown yesterday by greens that had recently been cored and had not yet recovered.

Greatly enjoyed the course and as always it was in excellent condition except for recent green coring which is a fact of life on a golf course. However we were much less pleased to be told by the proshop staff that the rate for the day we played had been set by Noosa Springs and I seek at $51 NOT the $102 you charged us on our credit card. This is very disappointing as we have used I seek in the past and won’t again if we can turn up at the course and pay half the price you are selling at. Please explain/ and refund. We are already booked to play again at Noosa this Thursday but we have booked direct.

Keep coming back and playing this great course, as always a beautiful golf course in great condition.
Only downfall was the greens had been cored just days before, but the half price green fees compensated for this.
The guys in the pro shop were more than helpful espically Greg.

Good resort style course, I had an enjoyable day out. Some of the greens were cored and dressed. Courses that charge a premium in the Australian market will continue to receive negative feedback if they persist in charging full price when course work is underway. Noosa Springs and iseekgolf need to come to some arrangment to advise customers in some manner when booking – in this day and age it is not unreasonable to expect to be informed. You can arrange payment but not course conditions?

Great service and very well presented course. Had suffered from rain a little with carts confined to paths only but the course played well – challenging but not too difficult. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Course was in good shape although still in a very damp condition due to the extraordinary amount of rain. From the arrival to drinks after the game, staff were exceptionally friendly. First time I played the course and will return for more games in the future.

Enjoyed having the course to myself being 1st off in the morning. Course was in great condition – fairways immaculate, greens ran quick and true. Plenty of water to keep things interesting (take plenty of balls)! At $98 via iseekgolf it’s not a cheap hit but it was enjoyable.

16. fiftyover | Rated | 17 Feb 2011 | Add A Review

Over priced, particularly when you add-in the cost for "lost balls". A course not for the faint of heart, with plenty of water that always seemed to be in play and/or narrow, tree lined fairways that would attract the ball off the tee on every 2nd hole. well maintained with beautiful flora and fona. I think it will be a while before I go back…..like maybe when I can play to a 12 handicap.

Always wanted to play there and was satisfied although wouldn’t necessarily go back. $98 is a bit steep in light of other options around the Sunshine Coast. It was soggy with all the recent rain meaning we had to park on cart path and walk with selection of clubs to our ball. The 328 geens mystfied us on occasion (missing several short putts trying to baby them in and grain took over)

Noosa Springs is a lovely course. I hit it at the right time as there was virtually no one else there. The fairways are in excellent condition given the rain that had been around. The greens were challenging (for me at least) with variances in pace and turn. It is quite picturesque and was a great addition to my holiday. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I was pretty happy to get a half price round due to the greens being revamped because at $120 i’m not sure I would have been positive in my review. Course was good and challenging without being to over the top. Would have appreciated a map of the holes as it is a challenge to navigate your way around without one. Greens were a challenge but we expected that. We really enjoyed the round of golf and if the half price deal pops up again I will be playing there again.

The game of golf was great, we got this at a great price due to working on the greens which we understand but we where a bit upset when we came to start our golf and one of our friends golf clubs where missing. Someone that was playing golf that day thought they where hired golf clubs and took the clubs to play golf we reported them missing and they found them but it did not start the day on a good vibe so be careful when you leave your clubs to be put on your carts.

My 2nd trip to Noosa Springs could not have been better. We had perfect weather and the course was in outstanding condition. Not sure why they need green renovations as they were spot on!

The pro shop staff were very welcoming and the bar staff after our round were even friendlier. A fantastic spot for a few beers after a round.

I can’t fault this place and it is now locked in for our annual golf weekend.

I always enjoy playing this course and tend to find different ways to dunk a ball each time I play. I do however think $98 is overpriced compared with Hyatt & Twin Waters. The course is always well presented and as long as you tee off after 10:30am the greens and surrounds have been mowed.

29. driwoswif | Rated | 04 Sep 2010 | Add A Review

Great course ,well worth the $ charged ,even with only a small discount thru iseek @ $11.
Shame the reception used the excuse when turning up for our 1045 am tee off that they were not aware of our internet booking until after they had booked other players into our time slot and sent us off later.

Firstly my comments may be a bit clouded by the fact that my round took 5 hours! Too long for any golf course in my book. The course itself is a typical resort layout where the front 9 is flat a very uninteresting! The back nine is MUCH better with some interesting holes, a little elevation and some risk/reward shot selection. Greens were very slow and needed to be cut that morning to have them play at their potential not a real fan of bermuda grass anyway. The course itself is not overly long or difficult, I am 12 marker and shot 80 from the blue tees with one water ball. Landing areas are generous despite water being visible on most holes. Definitely think $98 is way too much when you compare to Twin Waters, Lakelands, The Glades, Brookwater etc. I have palyed MANY better courses for under $70. Overall I thought the course was more about reputation than reality so won’t be heading back any time soon.

Enjoyed the course, plenty of grass on the fairways and the greens receptive and true, Shot a net 68 despite a triple bogey and double bogey on the two par fives on the back nine (yes the creek caught me), so the course could not have been too bad!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our game on a top course, several very challenging holes, really appreciated being able to tee off before our allotted time.
We did find getting to Noosa Springs quite hard, there is very little signage further out from the course and had to ask 3 different people how to get there, all with varying and at times confusing instructions.
We’ll be back.

I have always sung the praises of Noosa Springs after previuos visits, but last Sunday I have to say that my brother & I were extremely dissappointed with the course. It appeared that the over use of sprinlkers & a bit of overnight rain had made the course (i.e fairways) basically unplayable. Is Noosa Springs that desperate for money that they allow visitors go out in such conditions. If, in the future I venture there again I will need to do a course inspection before playing.

noosa springs is a good course for a holiday golf soujorn not difficult though i agree at $120 a round of 18 is steep for this course( the Glades is better value} but I seek golf presents better value but I didn’t think the club appreciated what "I seek golf" does for introducing golfers to them. They ought to advise the greens had recently been sacrified before accepting bookings.

Played last weekend after and during some significant rain.

The course did not hold up as well as expected in the wet, and there was surface water EVERYWHERE.

It was a terrible day that made playing more painful than fun. I would certainly NOT recommend anybody play this course after/during rain.

Noosa Springs is a fantastic golfing experience that is made by the staff. When the level of service, standard of food/beverage & the practice facilities are put into context the green fee is actually good value.

I have played this course over a dozen times and always look forward to returning from Japan & playing Noosa Springs where the staff actually remember you. Greens are very true and set up for social play. Played off championship tees with rolled greens this course would be a much tougher test of golf.

As an overall experience 5 stars (course 4.5)

50 m of rain night before had made little difference to the quality of this course-no visible evidence of the downpour-all bunkers playable although sand a little packed.

We played 9 holes on a Sunday afternoon and effectively had the front nine to ourselves. There was one other group but that’s all.

The course is good. A couple of tight drives to start with then water starts.

Good fairways but the greens were long and slow. The practice putting green was the best green we saw. The course was not advertised a renovation special but there was a fair amount of sand on the greens and they were long – hence slow.

Overall, a good half round in a nice setting.

Loved the course however when we rang to confirm our 3.37 tee time we were told that there was a members comp on and we wouldn’t be able to tee off until after 4 o’clock. Pro shop staff said it was not their fault because their booking system not linked to iseekgolf. As a result we only got 12 holes in before dark. If tee times not available they shouldn’t be listed on iseekgolf. Will not be using iseekgolf again unless i am given a refund or another round of golf.

We played as a group of 4 on Sun 6th Sept 09. The course was a little below the standard when we played back in June but was still very good. There were some renovations taking place and the 18th was a temp par three which was a little disapointing because it is such a good golf hole. The 19th had a great menu!. The booking we had confirmed with iseekgolf was changed to a later slot, but because bookings were light, we were able to tee it up 15 minutes earlier.
The course was enjoyable to play UNTIL the ninth.
Major reconstruction of the tree area between the ninth tee, through the 18th fairway, yo the back of the 10th green is being clear felled for more house sites.
The noise was deafening, but the loss of all the trees in the middle of the course is a tragedy. My family and I have played the course many times over the years, but I doubt whether we will return with the destruction of so much beauty in the centre of the course. Great shame!

16 of the holes were magnigicent. Unfortunately they are currently doing some fairly major works on the 11th which is normally a par 4 and the 18th which is normallly a par 5. Both have been reduced to par 3’s and it was really disappointing that this was not advertised on iseek golf. When youo pay $94 for a round of golf it would be nnice to be told of any major works going on before you book the round. A very disappointing way to finish a great day!!!

Booked for the twilight rate of $75 after 2.30pm, paid the discounted
rate of $105 owing to major work being carried out and having 2 temporary holes, played at 1.15pm. Being visitors from overseas, had no idea, we would not be able to complete our round in the daylight for the twilight rate, so just as well we opted for the 1.15pm start.
Thought the rate was still a bit steep as the course work was major,
a par 4 & 5 being reduced to 2 x par 3’s.
Course was otherwise in lovely condition, pro shop, very good and generally, our 4 had a lovely time.

The course is having some work done on a couple of holes but that doesn’t impact on the game. Everything about the experience was enjoyable. Challenging for the average player but not so daunting that you didn’t think you had a chance of getting a reasonable score.

The course was not heavily booked but even so the pro shop team was very helpful and looked after us well.

Course had experienced tremendous rain over the previous week or so. We had sunny weather. Carts were kept to the track but the drainage had worked very well and the course was in extremely good condition considering.

74. pherg | Rated | 07 Apr 2009 | Add A Review

Nice. Everything about Noosa Springs was "nice". Nice course. Nice staff. Nice round. Everything was nice except for the weather. It bucketed down from about the 4th to the 11th and having belted down for two days prior to my round the course was in remarkably good shape.

Had to keep the cart on the cart path which makes for a lot of running between the cart and the ball which wasn’t much fun but with the amount of water on the fairways, completely understandable. Not super long with most holes being a 3 wood off the tee and short iron into the well maintained greens.

The greens weren’t as fast as I like but again I imagine they hadn’t been cut for a while given the rain, no massive break in any putts either, but I had a solid day with the rental Odyssey White Hot #1 which came with the rental bag of Callaways ending with 27 putts. I wouldn’t have minded taking that putter home with me actually.

Water hazards around the course make for some really good looking holes even if the water doesn’t come into play. Well placed bunkering off the tees really makes you think about club selection and markers on the tees indicating the distance to carry water means you can blast away confident that you’ve got enough club. Often when you play new courses, I find you have no real ability to judge the distances, so the markings were really helpful. When the sun poked its head out on the 17th it made for a couple of lovely holes to finish the afternoon. The 17th in particular is a really pretty hole with water down the left side.

I payed for the twilight round via iseekgolf and spent $75, the standard rate for 18 is $120 (as a member of a highly regarded club in Victoria which only charges guests half that for a round, I think $120 is a bit much.

Given the fact that there was only a couple of other groups on the course maybe others agree or maybe most people just weren’t keen on the weather forecast), add in $60 for what must be a 3-4 year old set of Cally’s and it’s not a cheap experience. Then again this is Noosa where nothing comes cheap.

The best money is $2.50 for the course guide which was a fantastic help around the course. You can easily do without it as there are markings on the sprinklers which dot the fairways as well as 100 and 150m posts, but the book is nice to have and makes you feel like a Pro even if you’re game doesn’t match.

I play off 10 and played to my handicap off the blue tees which I was pretty happy with given the rental clubs, the conditions and a couple of dumb shot decisions, so it’s a good test and a lot of fun.

I played noosa springs today. Started at 3.30 on a sat arvo and got the $85 twilight rate incl cart. Place was dead and did not catch any other groups until the 17th. I played alone and managed to fly thru the round. Course is very good, fairways were immaculate and the greens were firm and fast. Very well set out and was a good challenge. Good mix up of holes and some long par 5’s. 9 & 18 are both long par 5’s that play back into the usual easterly wind. Overall I really enjoyed the course and will definitely play again.

I played this course on saturday with tough wind conditions. I found the course to be in excellent condition with good fast greens. It was my first round ever at Noosa Springs and given the challenging layout it was interesting the first time around. Long hitters will eat this course up, I made the green in regulation nearly every hole even with strong headwinds and I play off 20. This course offers something for golfers of all abilities, overall an excellent resort course which will have me coming back.

Fantastic course to play on… Provided you pay the discounted price through iseekgolf. If i paid the full price i would certainly want half of it back.

It is a great course, very challenging. You will have a fear of water by the conclusion of your round if you did not already!!!

Hit straight you will have a great round. Most holes will allow good chances for the shorter hitter, which means it will entice all types of golfers.

A long hitter will have a chance at every par 5 to reach in two.

Course was in great condition but the service was apalling. For $120 a round you would expect that the staff but would be at least courteous. From the greenkeepers to the drinks cart lady all we got was attitude and down right rudeness. I wont play there again on principle. Twin waters or the Hyatt are better courses and the service is great. I dont mind paying top dollar but I expect a good all round experience if I do.

Nice Course and Layout. But to me its overpriced. Fair share of water to lose the ball in.

Excellent design, conditioning and service. Hard to fault on any level. The greens were the best I played on the Sunshine Coast.

Played the day after qualifiying for the PGA. Played off the same tees. The course was in excellent condition. Greens and fairways were true after the rain. Shorter than most championship courses I have played but still a test because position of the tee was all important. A yardage book or map in the cart would have really made it easier. Most international couses now provide yardage books for you.

Great course and ammenities but bring you’re A game as there’s plenty of water and rainforest around if your off target.

A very pleasant course to play but no real signature hole. The 3 different tee markers offer a sufficient challenge for each standard of golfer.

Very nice course. Great pro shop. The course itself was in great shape. I’d play here again.

Very good course. played here at the end of 2007 and it was in fantastic condition, fairways were pretty pristine, as were the greens, which were a lot faster than i was used to. the service was also great; me and my brother arrived late, and we had to meet up with some other mates who had already teed off, and the bloke in the club house was very understanding and quickly arranged an electric buggy so that we could catch up to our mates. also the we came across the drinks cart about 3 times during our round which was good considering it was about 35 degrees.

i also thought the price was pretty reasonable considering some of the prices of other courses in the region. Overall a very memorable and great course which is one of the best on the sunshine coast

Played in mid 2007, Great practice facilities and a majestic club house, restaurant etc. I think this raised my expectations of what the course was going to be like. I played Emerald Lakes in Jan 2008 and would rate the course, service from the pro shop just as good if not better than Noosa Springs. Still a great experience and would play again.

This is a nice course that is always presented in perfect condition. It is fun to play and is not overly long or difficult. Good scores can be had for the good players if you keep the ball on short stuff which is mostly generous. While it is a nice course in beautiful surrounds I found many holes that felt quite similar and certainly none with the “wow” factor in terms of design or strategy. The clubhouse and facilities are first class as is the service. In all, a nice course in presented in great condition but probably a little over priced at $110.

Played here Nov 2007. Found all staff happy & helpful. Course was in excellent condition. Although only paid $88 would gladly have paid full price.

I played this course last week ans it was in immaculate condition. The course is not overly long but there is plenty of trouble if you miss the fairway. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast. The clubhouse is also one of the best in Australia.

I recently played this course and I would have to say that it is one of the nicest courses I have played.

It was picturesque and the design is such that it is challenging but still enjoyable to play.

Enjoyed the round but think it was a bit over priced at $110. Greens were in good nik buy visually not as impressive as I though it would be.

This would have to be in the top 3 courses I have ever played. Challenging, faultless course presentation and good course management. There was not an inch of ground that wasn’t lush green. Fairways/rough were in fantastic condition. Greens were nice and fast.

It is not overly long as mentioned before (5900 ish), but what it lacks in length it makes up for in course design. More than enough tricks to get you thinking.

The course was fairly full, with groups of 4 in front, but still only took 4 hrs. This seems to be a rarity of late with a recent round at the Glades taking 6 hrs.

I was very impressed with this course and will definitely return.

Very good golf course, with great facilities. I would rate just below Hyatt and Pelican but above Twin Waters. Not too long but still a challenge. Have played half a dozen times and is always in great condition.

Probably in my sojourn, the course I liked the most - price aside. It is expensive - but probably the nicest of the 3 in the area. If you haven't played here before, try to play with a member. Directions and distances can be confusing. The greens were very true - but very fast for us lot from across the ditch. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and as an 11 handicapper had more than enough challenges.

Would lkove to play again, but my Bank manager says I have to save the money, he won't lend it - bugger!~~!

A typical reort course, all well laid out and geared to create a special experience which they do very well. The course has lots of challenges but nothing too intimidating if you play with your head when required. Greens were great, so true and 100% consistant. There is enough water for a challenge but its not over board.

The absolute golden rule on this course is keep it on the fairway, spray and you will certainly pay! Unfortunately a lot of rain in preceeding days meant most fairways were water logged requiring a towel to wipe water and dirt off most of your body.

Great course, yes a bit pricey but you feel like you got value for money.

If it's all about the experience for you, this course makes every one of the $110 per round count. Greeted at the door, your clubs are effortlessly whisked away and mounted on the drive cart you can choose not to take but not to waive the fee for. The starters, rangers and miriad of additional staff are polite, accomodating and make you feel like you own the course. Then you tee off.

Three of the hardest holes get you started and personally by the fifth I was feeling like I needed some more loving from the staff. The front nine is tight and long, and you pay a penalty if you trade distance for accuracy. But the fairways and greens are manicured beautifully and if you keep your concentration you can walk away feeling good about a challenging and beautiful course. I'd recommend it thoroughly...it it were only a little more affordable!

If you are looking for a exceptionally well presented course thats fun to play without requiring 270 metre drives on every par 4 then you will certainly enjoy this. On the down side the designer has done well with limited space, but some holes feel a little cramped.

The 4th is a sensational little par 3 and the 4th is a great short par 4 but It doesnt have what I would rate as any classic golf holes. But for a fun day I would certainly recommend it. The 17th is also a great little par 4 that requires a well positioned tee shot and the right yardage for the approach. You only need driver on 9,15 and 18, so if you like playing a course that doesnt need prodigious length off the tee, you love it. But big hitters beware, if you stray from the tight fairways it will gobble you up!

At $110 a round perhaps the most overpriced of the Sunshine Coast's courses. Don't get me wrong this is a good course, it just doesnt stack up against the likes of Twin Waters at only $80 or Hyatt Regency at the same price. The course is always in good to great condition and has some really interesting water carries for the adventurous golfer, with the best stretch of holes coming through the middle of the back nine.
