Measures 2790m Par 35 with three par 3s ranging from 125-206m, four par 4s ranging from 308-378m and two par 5s ranging from 450-464m.

There are 9 tiny black soil greens with gentle hills and sparse trees scattered around the course. Basic golf facilities here with no bunkers and mostly straight holes. Fees are $5

The 125m slightly uphill 6th/15th over a dam is straight forward. The par 3s are quite varied with the long 206m 9th/18th quite challenging.

Adelong is a small town of around 900 people at approximately 340m above sea level about 20km west of Tumut.

The course is accessed 5km east of town on way to Tumut via Snowy Mountains Highway on the unpaved Adelong Racecourse Road off the sealed Reka Road.

It should be noted the course is higher (and cooler) than the town at approximately 400-420m above sea level. For a full length grass green golf course play at Tumut.

Althrough the course is a small one,there is alot of holes that will test you,the par 5`s are long and if you hit straight there is not much trouble,there is a few testy par 3`s the one to look out for is the dam hole,a lot of golfers come to grief on this hole as it is up hill over the new dam on to a sand green,the sand greens will test your putting, as a lot of grass green players are not use to the speed of these greens.

After your round you can sit under the shade of the old elm trees with your mates and have a few beers,and take in the country side.

The course is open all year round,the last time i played there the green fees were five dollars,the towns members play on tuesdays and the weekend and your shore to get a game with any one of them.
