Played here on Sunday 19th June. Conditions were perfect for a round of golf. Antill Park has a great setting with the surrounding hills. Course was in pretty good nick. Fairways were generally well grassed with the odd bare batch. Greens were in excellent condition & very fast on the day. Had some challenging holes built around water. Could do with some more faiyway bunkers & some green bunkers on some whole to take this good course to the next level. Nice country feel to the Pro shop & club house with bar tables on & off the verandah looking out of the course. All in all a very good course that beat expectations & has a great setting.
PROS
- Greens were in great nick
- Fairways generally in good nick
- Some good challenging holes built around water
- Great setting & clubhouse
Cons
- Needs some more bunkers on fairways & on some greens

Here is an unbiased review of the course…Antill Park is never going to host any major tournament as its no better than any average metropolitan course and is, at best, a slightly above-average country course.
Measures 5675m Par 70 with six par 3s ranging from 120-190m, eight par 4s ranging from 284-430m and four par 5s ranging from 450-524m.
Course has a parkland-style tree-lined layout with slowish bent grass greens and reasonable kikuyu fairways with some noticeable bare, dirt patches on some back nine holes. There are 18 bunkers on the entire course.
Highlights here include: the 366m sweeping dogleg left 3rd (index 3) with a large dam curving around the fairway with OOB fence on the right with 2 bunkers guarding the green, the 284m slight dogleg right 4th (index 11) with another large dam 240m from the tee with water 1m from the front edge of the island-like green with 4 bunkers guarding the green rear and leftside, the 170m 5th (index 5) over another dam with 2 bunkers short and another bunker guarding the green rightside, the 524m straight 7th (index 7) with water 20-30m short of the bunkerless green across the fairway making it a 3-shot par 5 hole, the slight dogleg right 398m 12th (index 2) which plays slightly uphill from 50m out of the green guarded by bunker short right and the challenging 430m slight dogleg left Par 4 13th (index 1) with a bunker 20-50m short right of the green.
Holes 3-7 is the better conditioned, more challenging and more bunkered part of the course.
Located 2km north of Picton, 12km from the Hume Freeway via Piction Road and 20km (15 minutes) south of Camden via Remembrance Drive.
Played here 6/6/2011 with $22 green fees for 18 holes. Very quaint feel with the 19th century historic proshop and clubhouse buildings dominating the carpark.
Picton has population of around 3000 with an elevation of about 175m asl and can see frost in the colder months.

Played this course on Sunday & found it to be great. Course fairways are green, plenty of water hazards & narrow fairways to make it hard, however I think that All up great course & club house and friendly people
Will definitely play here again

Antill Park is a challenging course from the back markers, I’ve played it at least 25 times from the social markers with a social club and a handful of times from the plates, once in Eric Apperly Shield playing for Cabramatta.
The layout is short from the social markers with the first hole Par 5 being reachable with a driver and then a 7 iron. The strongest holes in my opinion are the par 4’s 12th and 13th, and these are both around the 400m mark. The strongest par 5 is the 7th which can require a mid to long iron for your third somedays if hitting into the wind.
The 15th is a tough and long par 3 that requires a long iron to be hit over a larg water hazard to a small, uphill poised green that slopes dramatically from back to front. Another great driving hole is the Par 4 3rd, where if you carry 230m+ on the tightest line over the water, you can set yourself up for a shot wedge into the flag for a possible birdie opportunity.
This course is best played in the spring or autumn when the weather is cooler and theres a bit more grass on the course. In summer and winter the weather can dry out the fairways making them very firm and your tee shots can get undesirable bounces and end up going sideways into the trees. The greens are also best at these times, and a few weeks after their coring periods. Good value for money and well worth a look.
PROS
- Long par 4's, good mixture of long/short holes, good price
Cons
- Ground gets firm in the winter from winds and summer from heat, influencing course conditions

Average country course. Quite short off the social tees. Finished 9 holes on a sunday morning and then had to wait 30 mins to get on the 10th as there was either some very slow play or the course was overbooked. Has some nice 4s, especially the last which is downhill and reachable in 1 for a big hitter. Was quite cold at a 6am tee off in mid winter. All up a reasonable course.

Recent rain has really greened up the course, now resplendent with lush fairways and full water hazards. The greens are a little slow but the course is playing well and gives excellent value for an attacking short game

this course isn,t too bad good break up of holes from lon straight par 5s to water hazzards neat par 3s so you dont feel you have played the same hole twice. The one thing that leats this course down though is the greens they dont seem to mowed often as every time iv been there they are really long & slow, but the cheap green fees do help to get over this.
in its short worth a look.

Virtually flat course, not very tough at all. Small raised greens are the hardest feature but if you can chip you should have no problems.
Good walk, good scoring usually makes for a good day. I've broken my handicap here 3 times by a combined total of 12 shots so not too hard at all.
Fairways are also in good condition.

This is a great golf course has some fun and interesting holes, has several great par 4's and a couple of glem par 3's
Well worth the drive to Picton.
Greens and tee's are watered well all round a great course.
When Finished the round sit on the old club house veranda and watch people hitting up the par 3 9th short but people seem to go all over the shop.

Average country course with small greens & not overly bunkered. 2 or 3 of the holes have unfair driving zones which spoil what could be good holes.
Some nice par 3's on the back, and a down hill par 4 finishing hole that you will want to have a crack at driving.
All in all, worth a visit if you are in the area.

Not a bad course at all. Has a peaceful and attractive country setting. Fairways in pretty good nick, a few rough spots. Plenty of water but not to long, and a good long drive allows you to really challenge the easier par 4’w. A couple of good par 3’s.
The greens were pretty crazy. Very fast, steep, didn’t hold much and the accounted for a lot of shots.
I thought the course was a pleasant spot, nicely laid out but did leave a little to be desired, as it could be a lot better. Worth a trip, as it isn’t expensive.
