A small country town golf course. 9 holes- sand greens. Holes 3 + 5 are dogleg to the right. Gum and pine trees line most fairways. Rough is just that ROUGH. Bunkers on 3 holes but the sand has compacted from no maintenance. The course does get mowed. Road runs beside the 4th hole and a dry creek goes along the 5th and 6th holes. A few holes also have trees in bad spots - you do need to be good with driver on those holes. Fairways have some grass with a mixture of weeds - the ball doesn't always bounce where you intended. If your not an accurate driver or long iron player the course may challenge you. As was said about another course, you wouldnt go out of your way - but if your there have a go. I will say I do enjoy playing at ardlethan.

Could not really expand on the previous review as the course currently has terrible tiny sandscrapes with wiast-high grass/weeds.
If you are extremely desperate, to get here, go past the main shopping centre on Ariah Street, turn left into showground road and where the paved road ends, turn right to the course, or go straight to the showground.
For a town of around 400 people at an elevation of about 205m above sea level, it really isn’t maintained and I am not sure if this course exists as it has quite possibly closed…
