Set amongst beautiful native and exotic trees, the course is in a peaceful setting, with changing colours and aspect with the four seasons. Autumn is a particularly beautiful time in Armidale with so many spectacular trees, but each season has its own special magic. Beautiful native birds are regularly seen.
The kikuyu grass fairways provide consistent lush cover while the bent grass greens have been designed to present a true and reliable putting surface. 25 sand bunkers protect the greens, adding interest and a little more challenge! The course is constantly maintained in excellent condition to ensure that members and visitors can appreciate and enjoy our challenging layout.
The par 72 course for men and 73 for women provides an excellent test of golf requiring accurate strokeplay and careful reading of greens for a successful round.

This course is quite challenging for a Par 72 and Par 73 for Ladies. Tricky, but well maintained greens, narrow fairways but watch for those magpies in September! Hazards include water (5th,7th, 14th) with many other smaller creeks and bunkers. Sand is very thin and makes the average bunker player look very good out of the sand.
Cost is $22 for 18 holes and $15 for 9 holes. Carts are available, as some holes (9th) quite tough for the older folk, im guessing, $28/$18 for 18 or 9 holes hire. Have a go at this course and Uralla's is you are in the New England Region, the two best GC in the area.

Armidale in Autumn, is a great place, anyone seeking to play a short, testing and tree lined course could do worse. The course caters for the town so, pick a day outside of comps and you will have no trouble getting on.
The greens and fairways are well looked after and getting off the 1st or 10th tees sets the scene. Cost is reasonable for a large country town and carts are available. Worth a round

Terrific course for our little town! Par 72 as mentioned previously, and quiet challenging if you’re not straight from the tee-box!
Greens are very well maintained, and consistent across the course.
Watch for the aggressive maggies in the Spring, the sunburn in the Summer, the snow in the Winter, and enjoy a beautiful 6km stroll in Autumn.
Fees are $26 for 18 holes.
