This is a great course and the service is really good especially by the new pro shop manager.

The course only suits low markers and long hitters. Not enough short par threes, too much trouble off the fairways, the hills towards the finish are killers. The management is apathetic towards members and the “club captain” is a self-appointed position of insignificance. Cheats have been caught out and have continued without penalty. The culture amongst members is to ignore all other players rights and rounds generally take over four and a half hours. There is a definite “resort course” mentality about with people taking too long for rounds.

Dear Bilyd82, golf course all over the place?

Maybe your golf is all OVER THE PLACE!!! This is a sensational track!

Good alround golf club but not great considering it’s a private course. Too many rich snobs getting about, good food and staff are great. Course is good but a little all over the place, best thing about the place would be the driving range, hard to find a long range with good balls.

Wow, what a course. Enjoyed every hole on a recent golfing holiday in the area. It was by far the best course for golfers that want a solid challenge, you have to thinkout every shot. Some of the bunkers are brutal but the fairways and greens are sensational.

If you get a chance to play it this course is well worth the time. Very challenging off the back plates and one of the last courses on the coast to retain bent greens. Staff and members can be stuffy but it is a private course so you must be invited and expect that. A hidden gem.

By far the most challenging course on the Gold Coast, the members-only Arundel Hills is a thinking golfer's course. Unlike the wide, open, friendly resort courses of the area, Arundel's design is long and tight. Stray from the fairways and there's no point looking for that miracle shot... just get back into play and take your medicine. It's a challenge that'll see most guests and new members add a few extra strokes to their handicap.

If the members had a smile on there face, and the club atmosphere improved it might be a good course. Otherwise if i had to look a a whole lot of stiffs, i could go elsewhere.

Tucked away 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise is a challenging 18 hole course. The story goes that a handicap elsewhere has an additional 4 strokes added when you paly Arundel. Plenty of water and some "thinking holes" make it a great days golf.
