This is a great course with beautiful large greens and is always in great nick….it would be one of the most consisten t golf courses around in the area….you can never go wrong with a round here…
Also if you join twin towns you get half price golf all year…dont know any other place that does that…

I had a wonderful time playing on banora. The course was in perfect condition and the layout was challenging whilst still being fair to social players. The greens rolled true and the fairways where maybe the best ive seen. book your tee time at banora as soon as you can, you wont be dissapointed.

I enjoyed this course very much. The course was in good condition. The fairways and bunkers were easy to hit from the only problem to me was the hardness of the greens.
It was hard to stop the ball on the greens without the ball running through the back. Very quick to putt on.
I would recommend this course to anyone looking to have a quiet and relaxing afternoon. With the course mainly flat it is easy to walk.

From the moment you drive into the car park the Banora Golf Club oozes quality.
Not just the course but the entire property is a joy to walk on.
The course has the classic layout, 4, 3 pars, 4, 5 pars and 10, 4 par holes laid out as equal nine holes.
Whats so good about it ?
The faiways and tees are 328 couch, the greens appear a mixture of 328 and bent, there are no bad lies anywhere.
The par 3's are well designed, great visually looking from the tees and are exciting to play.
The course is a flat as you could make it, but no way ever boring. Every hole is different than the rest. The tee grounds are elevated, unbelievably large and perfectly flat.
The greens are elevated, large with minimal borrow, each one being of unique design and a golf scaping gem.
There is water on the course, but it is not all that penalising. There's heaps bunkers and trees that make the course interesting and keep your imagination active as to how you would like to play the hole.
Great way to spend 3 hours!!

How lush would these fairways be in summer? Coming out of a dry winter they were still very good with no bad lies. Big, fast greens surrounded by bunkers with fine white sand. Poor scores cannot be blamed on the course. Not too long off the white tees yet positioning of trees and bunkers makes shot selection important rather than any great unknown hazards. Main criticism would be the basic up and down format which for many holes means a wayward tee shot can be fairly easily played off an adjacent fairway. Fairways are corrugated rather than undulating so keep the buggy speed down.
Hidden from the road by the plush big club house it’s a surprise waiting even from the car park. Not the best but worth a day out.The Relic.
