As a beginner to this frustrating game ,I cannot speak highly enough of this club.Everything there makes you feel welcome and comfortable. My son who is 9 has been playing here for awhile and this got me involved .So at the age of 41 I started playing. All staff and members have helped me with good honest friendly advice.Well done Beaudesert!

Everyone at the club goes out of their way to welcome a guest. It is however a terrible course, notably the 16th hole, a 90 dogleg, turning back up a hill. Still the members are friendly, the drinks cheap and you're not going to Beauie to play a championship course. Thankyou to the hospitality of the club..

As an ex-member of Beaudesert golf club I can say that it is a challenge not to be missed. It may not be as lush or as well manicured as the gold coast courses but it still offers challenges that will test even the most competant of golfer. The ability to work the ball both ways could be seen as a plus with many of the tee shots requiring you to move the ball in the air to avoivd obstacles or position yourself for an easy approach. The course, like many country courses do not recieve the rainfall of the coastal courses do, but the 2 greenstaff and many volunteers all do a great job to keep the course is good condition. If the golf doesn't go that great, the locals will be more than welcome to share a beer or four and help drown the sorrows.

I played this course with my boss and thought it would be a dust bowl in the middle of nowhere, but i was suprised by this challenging course. I was glad we payed the extra cash for a cart myself not usually ruining a good walk. There are some very hilly holes and some tight fairways which punish slices and hooks. The course was kept in fairly good condition with well sped greens and the fairways were cut nicely. When the balls were in the long rough i was sure to take a club or pick up a big stick to protect my self from the possibility of snakes. Bunkers were in a fairly condition but still playable, but what do you expect from a course which is so cheap to get get a round in. The staff in the pro-shop were very friendly especially knocking off a couple dollars for a drink i didn’t have enough change for. There is plenty of history to this course and i recommend playing it at least once for the view at the top of one of the holes that looks over the country side and lets you smash the absolute hell out of the ball. all in all i’ll be back bringing a friend if not for the golf but the country charm of this course.
