Played this today teeing off at around 7.30am.
Made good use of the quality practice green and practice nets while waiting for the tee off.
At first, the dew was slowing down the greens but that lifted at around the 3rd-4th hole. After that the greens were very fast. The course was in a great condition. There is a GUR on the 11th hole and the 11th hole does need some attention as the some of the fairway grass is getting long (it was obvious that it was not rough).
The 10th fairway could be 20 metres wider otherwise you have to hit a good 250-300 STRAIGHT bomb to have a look at the green in regulation.
Otherwise just look out for the tricky dogleg 13th and some rolling greens. Good course for the hacker but does throw up a challenge for the more seasoned golfer as well!
4 out of 5 stars for what it is!

This is one of the best scenic course with virtually no buildings in sight. Superb environment to play early in the morning.
Condition of the course is superb and the layout of this course challenges players to have a go at the green. It's a "no guts no glory" course IMO.
This may not be the best course around like terryyoungw said below. But considering the value POV, I rate this 5/5. No doubt there are many better courses in terms of condition, scenary, difficulty, etc, but for many who don't like to pay big bucks for a round, this is the course of superb value.
Over all 5/5 for Beerwah. Highly recommended.

I wish people would be realistic. Come on to give a country course like Beerwah a 4 or 5 is ridiculous. 5 is the highest so where does Royal Melbourne and the like go? This is a good honest course always lush as it is in a rain belt. It rates truthfully around 2 and 1/2 to 3 stars. It is very flat and average length. The main challenge is the greens which are small and shaped like upside down saucers. Definetly worth a look.

Played on 30 March 2005 after they'd recently sanded the greens but the greens were still true and fast, despite the club not having put the low mower back on them.
A number of lovely short par 4 dogleg holes, cut the inside of the corners at your peril. The only down side of the doglegs is that they are almost all left to right, rather than encouraging a mixture of shot making strategies.
The rough on the first 9 is less severe than on the second 9.
No standout holes but just a consistent test of shot making. An excellent country course in very good condition.

I recently had the pleasure to play this course and found it to be quite enjoyable. Not too hard and definately not too easy. Fairways were good and the greens were pretty true. A lot of OOB which keeps you on your toes and makes you think about choosing the driver off the tee every time which is a good thing.
One sour note though, our group got hassled by some old bloke you never introduced himself to us as we went around about being too slow. We did play 18 in 4 hours though. We assume he was a committee member so that lowered our rating from very good to good.

Nice course, but short which cuts the challenge down.
Smallish green mean you need to take care with your approach shots, but most of the approach shots are wedges, so if you strike the ball reasonably well you should have no problems.
I have bettered my handicap (6) on each of the 4 times I have played there.

Everyone makes beerwah out as an easy taking but no one ever comes and shoots the lights out. Tricky drain placement, small and fast greens, just a touch of concentration lost due to our beautiful wildlife make this equal to anywhere, you will love it as I do.

Beerwah would have to be the best course around (north of Brisville) It supplies a few challenges during play – the greenkeeper/s do a magnificent job – early april is coring or sanding which is a pain but the other times the course is brilliant – they have just extended the par 5 15th which was an relative easy birdie hole for the lower handicap but not now – practice range and nets are available and the practice putting green is consistant with the 18 during play after 9am – before then the game greens play a little slower.. Beerwah greens and fairways would have to rate up there with the best in Brisbane. Around 6000 metres and a par 72
