Really fun golf course with a variety of straight, dogleg-right and swinging left holes. The difficulty level of the greens is not terribly high, but being situated right next to a national park, you can find yourself in some serious trouble if you leave the fairways.
Speaking of fairways, be sure you can hit straight off the tee, because some of the holes start off with fairly thin fairways that cost you dearly if you’re off-target.
What I really enjoy about this course in Summer is that it doesn’t turn into quite the dustbowl that some of the other public Adelaide courses turn to in the repressive heat. Yes you will still eat some dust hitting a ball out of the trees, but the greens are in great condition as of December 1, and the fairways still acceptable to play off. Also, it has a friendly relaxed atmosphere, with ducks on the fairways and kookaburras laughing at your errant shots from above.
PROS
- Stays relatively green in Summer.
- Fun course with reasonably easy greens.
- Beautiful setting in the Adelaide hills, right next to Belair National Park.

Great golf course with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Course is always in good condition with green fairways and tees and good greens. The environment is seducing and the emu’s,kookaburras and kangaroos are always watching. Mid week and late on weekends its a great place to go and play relaxing golf
