Bellarine Lakes is a private golf course open to the public. It features water hazards that could come into play on the 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th,17th, and the best finishing hole in the district the 18th.

It has Reedy Lakes wetlands in the back of the course, which feature an abundance of birdlife from grass parrots to swan and pelicans.

Pensioners and students are $12.00 any day. Come and see us, we are the best kept secret in Geelong.

Not a bad course by any means, actually the fairways and greens are very well cared for.

There is the odd water hazard about that sometimes come into play, but this course will definately benefit when the trees mature more.

All up compares very well to Geelongs other city courses.

Bellarine is a par 72 course made up of 12 par4s 3 par3s and par 5s.The land is flat and all holes run north south except the 4th , a par 3 over water.There are 7 other holes where water comes into play.The course is bunkered and the greens are of a reasonable size.The course is only young so the trees are still developing and the fairways have improved a lot.The recent rains have lead to the water hazards being full.Bellarine's main problem is that many holes particularly out the back look the same.Given the land that the course is on it isn't bad ,but many of the holes are boring to play.The 12th is an example of how a few artificial mounds and nice couch fairway can make a hole more enjoyable.Hopefully other holes will take its lead.Overall it is worth a visit for somewhere different to play.
