Do urself a favour and drive past Secrets, Meadows, PK and The Cut to play here. put ur $15 in the honesty box and play all day. 9 fantastic holes that belong at a $100 plus resort course. It is like playing at The Cut but more realistic to the average golfer so far more user friendly and therefore enjoyable. Course in great condition with the greens running true and fast, although does have different grass running through. For a small country town, it is a credit to you, just get a pub near by for a few bevies after, however the drive to the closest pub kept us talking about how good this course is

What a gem, if this course was a full 18 holes it would be one of the best in the Southwest. The design is very interesting and each of the holes has its own feel. This course obviously was built with future expansion in mind, which unfortunately hasn’t happened. There are no facilities at the course, no clubhouse, no drinking fountains, no ball washers, just a fabulous 9 holes and one portable toilet. The fairways are couch and in excellent condition. The greens are large and undulating and also in excellent condition. It is an easy walk, with only a couple of longish tracks between holes and at $15 green fees it is terrific value for money. There are two sets of tees on each hole and the card indicates which tees to use as front nine and back nine. There are two holes where there are two flags and, once again the card indicates which flag is applicable for the hole being played. Overall this should be a definite to play if you are in the area. We played on a Tuesday and were let through by a group on the first hole and saw no-one else apart from a couple of green staff all day. This would definitley rate higher if it was a full 18 hole course.

Played here late July 2009 and was extermely supprised by the quality of the layout and the condition of the course. Had heard about the honour box system ($15) so expected the facilities to be minimal, which is the case. I had also expect the condition of the course to be poor, but this was not the case.

The layout is great, with the opening holes aiming out toward the ocean. The track has the feel that you are playing in the middle of nowhere and has a links type feel.

There are also some very challenging holes, with number 8 being the hardest. Take driver and get as close to the water as possible……

We were there today, and the changes to hole nine made it a killer… the temptation to hit another one got us! The green fees are at $15 but well worth it. There is a wood BBQ there if you want to have a snack after golf before your swim at the beach.

Hard to believe this course has not been developed further to 18 holes. Long wide fariways are a feature with each hole making for a challenging round (or half round).

Despite the apparet dry surrounds there is water on 1 ans 9 to make things interesting, large pots protecting greens and undulating greens that can pay a fast as any in the area.

Modifications have been made to the 8th in 2007 to make things a lot harder. The 9th is a 170m par three elevated tee with water protecting the pin/s. Many many balls now inhabit the depths and the temptation to “hit another one” over the water hazard is overwhelming.

Good honesttrack well worth a lazy 2 hours on a sunday arvo followind by a late arvo swin at the beach only 500m away.

This course has the potential to be one of the mini greats….mini only in the number of holes at 9 but maxi in terms of its length on the first hole, 500+!!! Pretty to walk around within the trees for the first few holes before it turns to the sea and the views are just magic.

It is a fun course that is an honesty box effort. For a part time course you cannot expect manicured greens but they are fine and well kept in the main apart from where the wildlife drops by.

Great day out on the way too or from Perth/Bunbury or further south. It is almost a must play course.

Having just moved to the bunbury region (Binningup to be exact) I have played this course several times to date. This course has a good mix of Sand, Water and Bushes should you stray into them.

Well maintained, grass greens and all at a great price. $11.00 for as far as I can see as many holes as you can play in a day. (Price as at 1/11/05).

The wind is a factor for about the middle 4 -5 holes, turns a challenging game into a difficult game.

This 9 hole course would have to be one of the most interesting country courses. It has 9 holes with great grass greens. The greens often have double breaks, and some are multi-tiered. There are two tee positions for each hole.

It is links style with bunkers and water. The wind makes shot selection very interesting.

There is no club house and no bookings. You put your money in a tin via an honour system.

Situated on the coast about 30 minutes north of Bunbury or 1 1/2 hours south of Perth via the Old Coast Rd.

A 9 hole course that offers some challenges if shots are a little wayward into the rough and trees. Well grassed fairways and firm greens

Water comes into play on holes 1,2,8 & 9.

Bunkers are present on all holes with No 6 being a beauty. Land in here and you can't see the flag. Neither can your playing pals see you when they stand on the green. The fairways are undulating with holes 4 & 5 having right hand doglegs. If you feel adventurous you might try to cut across them, but remember to hit long if you attempt it, otherwise stick to the fairways to avoid ball hungry rough. You have an uphill lengthy walk between holes 3 & 4. No 9 hole plays different flags. Left hand flag for 9. Right hand flag for 18

The course operates on the honour system for green fees. Future Resort Development is planned around the course with a driving range to be added. Great for a day out for a picnic and a game of golf. Take your own everything as no clubhouse facilities as yet.
