There are 9 black soil scrapes with a natural (usually dry) creek along the entire eastern boundary. No surprises with barely basic golf facilities offered here.
Course is on the southern edge of the small village of Blinman with less than 50 permanent residents at approximately 600m above sea level in the Flinders Ranges.
The golf course is worth a skip as there are many attractions around like the scenic unsealed drive between Blinman and Parachilna which cuts through desert gorges which are characterised by the spectacular colours of the outback. Oh, and did I mention the now fully sealed road between Hawker to Blinman cuts through the Flinders Ranges National Park with Wilpena Pound views! NPWS fees apply for this drive.
Closest grass green course is Port Augusta which is 2 hours south-west of Blinman via Hawker and Quorn.
