Course has 9 tiny black soil greens on a flat paddock with natural grass as fairways. There are no significant trees on the course and most holes are straight.
Bogan Gate is a small village of 250 people about 38km west of Parkes along Henry Parkes Way and 65km east of Condobolin.
The course can be found 1km north of the main intersection turning into Hutton Street (known as Bogan Way) passing the war memorial clock tower in the middle of the road.
