The Sky – the Cliffs – the Sea and the ocean breezes collaborate to make this old style links course an exciting golfing experience, the way the game used to be played amongst the rough terrain’s of coastal Scotland. This is not one of those “pretty meadow” style courses where you see professionals chipping towards another million. This is a truly challenging nine hole course that helps you work on your short game. There is 1 Par Four and 8 Par Three.

The course record is 4 under Par. It defies even the pros who occasionally do a round here to warm themselves up for big games at the Royal Sydney. Thanks to the supervision of our expert greens-keeper – the landscaping and the new greens are top notch.

Great little course just to have a hit. Not a hard course if you don’t mind a chip n putt. They have the 1 par 4 on course and possibly 1 of the hardest going around. Great people and great location for a few friends just to have a hit off the beach.

Tough little course…

Greens very quick, especially if windy as it drys them out. Many deft little chips on to the green can see you go flying off the other side, especially on the 8th.

Great social golf course, which causes a bit of trouble.

Course provides a challenge for all. Aim left and your fine, go right and your in trouble. Excellent greens, quite quick. Great views. Bad clubhouse – asked my 10 year old son to sign in, Bad pro-shop – very rude to visitors.

A good test of your short game, some good par 3’s especially the 4th and 7th! Greens are always in great shape and the views are second to none!

Bondi GC is an old style links course that has well maintained greens for the traffic it generates. Like other reviewers, I was quite pleasantly surprised with this course. With 8 par 3s and a par 4 it is great to play on to work on the short game or social round with your mates.

1st Par 3. 145 metres. Flag is visible, but tee bed is below the green, & wind can make it hard with STEEP slope on the right .

2nd Par 3. 113 metres. Like the 1st hole with 3 bunkers guarding the green.

3rd Par 3. 121 metres. Green is visible as is its 2 bunkers.

4th Par 3. 150 metres. Not as easy as it looks. Club selection is vital as wind can swirl up the cliff gap you have to clear.

5th Par 4. 280 metres. Difficult hole with wind and chimney tower to play around.

6th Par 3. 110 metres. Wedge will to it but has to clear to deep bunkers to get to green.

7th Par 3. 163 metres. Green above the tee again, mid-iron into the wind may do it.

8th Par 3. 128 metres. Like the 7th hole, but fantastic views on the SH Bridge

9th Par 3. 134 metres. Views to the beach and SH Bridge from the tee. Other than that a simple hole with 2 bunkers guarding the green.

Played here on 1/12/05 (Thursday) and paid $11 for 9 holes after 3pm. Great value! The lady in the proshop is very friendly and the nearly completed newer clubhouse should be great for summer. Play here in the summer with a cool seabreeze and views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Bondi Beach. A scenic masterpiece.

9 Holer, with 8 par 3s and a par 4, very well maintained, has some of the best greens I've seen on a public course. Even though its short it is still hard to score well on. Probably the best views of any course in Sydney. If you want to use your driver alot you may need to find another course, but its good for the short game, and good value with play all day for $18.5. Pro shop staff are freindly and helpful, and can go for a drink in the club after the round, to keep enjoying the views.

If you look at Bondi For What it is you will not be disapointed.

As already mentioned by other members its pretty much a short 9 Hole Par 3 course(with 1 par 4)

Perched up on the cliffs at North Bondi the wind does come into play most of time.

The Course is pretty well maintained in and around around the greens but it does get patchy in other areas.

At $18.50 for unlimited golf Its really only good value if you do a couple of rounds. Usually only takes 1-1.5 hours to play around (9 holes). There is a $11 twilight rate though (after 4pm)

The Atmosphere is very social so its a great place to play a game with friends who may not play all that often.

The Club House (Bondi Diggers Club) has almost finished its renovations and with its views of the beach its definately a great place for a couple after the game.

All par threes save one. They asked me for id in the club house and I'm 30.

Bad course.

A short course perched on a hill overlooking bondi. If you are in the Eastern Suburbs it's a great way to spend a few hours enjoying the magnificent views and then heading to one of the areas many great bars and restaurants.

One of the best views you will see on a golf course, ever.

But that is all.
