I have had a few games at Studley over the last couple of years and have enjoyed playing here, However i wasn’t to impressed with the condition of the course yesterday. On the Par 4 15th, from approx 150m out all the way to the green there were GUR markings(about the size of golf bags). Some of the greens looked a bit bare(it has been a hot summer), and were bumpy as people don’t repair pitch marks.I do hope the course improves as it is a good test.

Camden is a good course for your average club/social golfer. The condition has been sliding over the last 10 years but is starting a revival recently after a small injection of funds. Most people will enjoy their game there and come back again especially at reasonable prices. It is a good example of a course that doesn’t have to be tremendously long to create a challenge and hold a players interest. The 13th hole was a great hole but has been degraded with a redesign to “modernise” the course with total disregard to the original design. A small let down on a relatively good course.

It was good to see this course is well on its way back to tip top condition. The fairways were in good nick and the greens were great two weeks ago. With the afternoon wind blowing it was a great challenge for an average golfer without being too hard. He rough was on the on;y area that still need to recover as you could get out of most of it without too many problems

played there a week ago course was the worst i have seen it in 5 years. i understand there are water issues but the fairways are a disgrace and the greens are worse, they are so bumpy its not funny. The new work though looks good.

Camden (Studley Park) GC measures Par 71 5904m from the back tees with 4 Par 3s ranging from 155-226m, 11 Par 4s ranging from 250-395m and 3 Par 5s ranging from 465-525m. Currently a lot of development going on which will make the Par 5 (S-bend fairway) fourth hole even better and Par 5 17th hole even longer.

Hazards include sand (on nearly every hole and all Par 5 fairways!), wind and water (4th, 5th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th). Great challenge of Par 3s with the 226 metre 12th hole being the longest and the 16th being the prettiest with a water clearance very close to the green. Par 4s are all of great length and challenge the golfer to make par. Par 5s, well, are just the best Iíve played on. Fairway bunkers, water, greenside bunkers and all have slight turns that make club selection very much part of the game. Greens are a little slow and undulating that make putts difficult to read. Fairways are trimmed close and are in superb condition!,..rough is a little forgiving but still very challenging.

Played here on Thursday 15th December 2005 and paid $18 for a round of 18. Great value and a great course that Iíd be back to play again. If ever in the Nepean region, this course is a must. 4.5 stars

Out of all the courses I have played on this one rates as one of the best. The fairways are in terrific condition, the roughs are how they should be and the greens are slow but tough. On top of that, they have bunkers thrown all over the place with many surrounding the greens, and water hazards which you may become a victim to.

This course offers a good mix of holes and a variety of challenges. The par 3's are fairly tough and challenging and are of a good length with a 226 metre par 3 on the 12th (the longest I have played). The 4th, a par 5, is no doubt the best par 5 I have played on. This hole doglegs right with a fairly large water hazard to the left and fairway bunkers to avoid. It is still in development at the moment noticable by the sand covering the fairways but once this is completed it will be a gem. The par 4's are pretty good but 3 of them lack the distance being under 300m.

Overall, it is a pretty damn good course and I will surely be back again and again.

A very enjoyable course providing some challenging holes now that they have been redesigned. The second, third and fourth are great to play and the twelfth is a long par three - over 200 m with a tricky green. A good day out

We played here on Oct 9th with the social club. The wind was quite strong which made for interesting golf!! This course is realtively straight forward with fairways that are reasonably firm. This results in more run, but makes it tough to keep the drives on the fairway on the dog leg holes. They have done course renovations to holes 2, 3 and 4 which make these holes alot tougher than previously.

My favourite holes on the course are:-
* 2nd - This is a dogleg left par 4 with new bunkers in the middle of the fairway. The green is quite big, so hitting the target isn't a problem.
* 4th - This used to be a short par 5 with a narrow fairway. With the new re-design of the hole, it is a good length par 5. There is water and OOB left, a pair of bunkers to avoid on the right and more bunkers short of the green. Once the new turf takes, this will be a reall good hole.
* 12th - This is a long par 3, over 200m. It is a very challenging hole with bunkers right and scrub at the back of the green. The green also slopes left to right.
* 18th - This is only a short par 4, but the tee shot has to be hit between two lots of trees either side of the fairway. The green is also an elevated one with OOB left and long.

All in all, this is a good course to play and it is great value too. Once the new works on the holes have "settled" it will be even better.

Enjoyable course. Not overly long & lacking any strong par 4's, but a nice course to play.
