A really nice course when its dry, played there on a 20C day and it was perfect, the greens were hard enough to promote spin but so hard that you needed to have heaps of spin to hold your approach. The fairways were really nice to hit off and the rough wasn't too thick.
the greens were very interesting, quite often you would line up a put which should clearly go left to right but when hit would go right to left. General rule of thumb for this course, every put breaks towards the water. If you hold your putter in front of your eyes with a thumb and fore fingure you will notice that the break isn't what you throught. Once you get the hang of this though the greens are really consistant and pleasuable to put on. Highly recommend getting there early for a session on the practise green.
The course is very hilly which will test the legs a little but given some of the views available it is well worth the trek. The view from the 14th was my favourite.
All in all a very pleasurable round, had snacks in the club house afterwards and i couldn't pick fault with the staff or the food, superb.
Will be back many times!
