Measures 5870m Par 72 with five par 3s ranging from 113-208m, eight par 4s ranging from 271-384m and five par 5s ranging from 455-517m.
Course has 18 black soils with the natural but dry Poornamookinnie Creek across the majority of the course. Interesting layout with the course creating a greenbelt on the western side of the town. Basic golf facilities here though. Fees are $5
The 205m Par 3 18th (index 6) has you hitting across Golf Drive roadway. Most holes have a slight dogleg in them. But no bunkers here. The opening 500m dogleg left 1st (index 3) is near the clubhouse and the first 4 holes comes back to the clubhouse.
Cleve is a small town of around 750 people about 25 minutes west of Cowell in some good farming land. Don’t come here for the golf though keep driving to either Whyalla or Port Lincoln.
