Not a bad course. Played a tournament here recently.

Greens are immaculate but unfortunately they have put in a new irrigation system. Makes chipping around the green an absolute pain for the moment. Also, there are lines of sand all over the fairways where the new irrigation has been laid down.

With this apsrt within a few months with new irrigation aswell this wil be a great course.

High seasonal rain has kept the course in great nic. Play any of the three nines and you will find challenges on most holes. Great Course and friendly members.

PROS

  • Great for any kind of golfer
  • Can handle alot of rain and still be playable

Played 24&29/04/10.
Course in good nick as always when I’m here on holidays.
Players from down south be warned, greens are nice for putting, not so good for sticking your irons to. Apart from this…wonderful course! Par3 19th is a brute!

Course currently in very good condition. Played 10 thru to 27, found the first nine to be a little more interesting than the second. Greens were true and firm. Would love to go back and try holes 1-9. Of the holes I played, bunkering was very good, and water hazards on around 12 holes to keep you honest.

A good course in excellent condition. They have 27 holes and we played 19-27, then 1-9. It looks hilly from the clubhouse but apart from the first and last holes of each nine it is not bad. The layout is interesting and the greens and fairways were terrific. They have an open day each Sunday and we were able to play in the comp. If you are ever in the area make sure to visit.

What an amazing golf course at very reasonable rates. The course offers 27 holes of pure golfing heaven and I loved it. All three nines play very differently and are quite challenging. Water comes into play on holes 3, 5, 6, 7 & 8 on the front 9. 10, 14 & 16 on the second nine & 19, 20, 24, & 25 on the last 9. There are practice facilities and 2 putting greens. The fact that there are 27 holes pretty much guarantees you a game in either comp or a social most times. Mark this place down for a visit when you can get there…it’s worth it!

PROS

  • 27 holes, great food and cold beer

Cons

  • Could not fault the place

This course is in great condition year round. With 27 holes, its always easy to get a game in any comp or socially. A vast array of different holes await, mostly flat, however 4-5 are into elevated blind greens. My favourite hole is the 12th, a 170m par 3.On the tee box the Great dividing range stands proud in the background. Beautiful sight in the late afternoon with the sun setting. Friendly members and a fantastic clubhouse wth great food annd cold beers.

This is the best value for money course I have ever played. The greens are well kept and a ball on the right line will never miss. The best hole the course offers is the 3rd Par 3 141m. A tee shot that you face either going right of the water with a draw or a straight tee shot over water. Club selection is important. You are well above the green. A great course.

Our last game after a week of golf in the area. Played 1-18 on last day of ladies championships 2007, course was in really good nick. Some good par 3’s and really good short par 4’s. Fairways were excellent greens hard but held high shots, ran quick and true. Really a pleasure to play and staff at pro shop and club house were very friendly. A course worth at least a second visit.

Managed to play 1-18 which I found very neat, some great holes enjoyed alot went back next day to play again.

Greens and fairways are in great condition.

Friendly staff and great practice greens.

3rd, 5th, 17th are three of my pic's and the green on 18 is a tricky sucker but just a great course.

Can't wait to get up to Coffs again and have several more rounds.

Thanks.

Firstly not the golf course but my playing partners thanks boys for a top day. The course in general is a great hit. Firstly playing in their open day and only nine dollars to play fantastic value, then the course itself, nothing but great hole after another, fair to say I only played holes 10 thru to 27 first nine to be done another day but in places tight undulating, a bit of water and few hazards to deal with, and the greens nice and slick. Would recommend to any travelling agu golfer. Can't wait to return. Easy four star course in my book.
