Measures 2852m Par 36 with two par 3s ranging from 126-150m, five par 4s ranging from 271-403m and two par 5s ranging from 452-455m.
There are 9 small black soil greens which are a little grainy but not so terrible to ruin your clubs. The dry kikuyu fairways and teeing areas are thinly covered with weeds and dirt under the short tree-lined course layout.
There are 18 tees, but only 2 holes change tee areas from playing the front and back nines: the straight 287m 6th also plays as 192m Par 3 15th and the straight 403m Par 4 7th also plays as a straight 471m Par 5 16th.
As you’d expect from a small locally run golf course there are no bunkers. Fees are $10 in an honesty box system.
The town is located approximately 120m above sea level about halfway between Jerilderie (70km south) and Griffith (65km north) along the Kidman Way. The course accessed from Pine Drive.
I’d probably photogragh the town’s unique wineglass shaped water tower which was constructed in 1968 than play here. Not for golfers used to grass greens, but not bad for a town of around 700 people though.
