Measures 5943m Par 71 with five par 3s ranging from 137-176m, nine par 4s ranging from 324-400m and four par 5s ranging from 454-470m.

Course has wide, dry patchy kikuyu fairways with brown/red dirt patches with small bent grass greens which play slow but are in slightly better condition than West Wyalong’s.

There is a local rule of preferred lies within 30cm through the green. There are no bunkers on the course.

Highlights include: the 454m straight 4th (index 12) with a 2-tier front-sloping bunkerless green; the 176m 6th (index 6) with OOB fence 10m right of the bunkerless green; the 352m slight dogleg left 13th (index 8) with 2 overhanging 25m tall gum tree branches left of the bunkerless green; the 388m 15th (index 1) which doglegs 45 degrees to the right from 200m off the tee with open woodlands, red dirt and shrubs on the dogleg corner and the 460m straight 18th (index 14) with a 2-tier front-sloping bunkerless green.

As mentioned most holes are straight with only the 15th having a significant deviation off the straight, but now, there are no water hazards coming into general play.

The layout is quite impressive with no hole criss-crossing over another to reach the tee as you see in other country courses. The greens were above average for a small country town which was a surprise with some consistent, albeit a little slow, speed which is vital on any good golf course.

The other impressive challenge here is the length of its back nine par 4s which were all over 350m which is good to see.

Condobolin has about 3000 people approximately 200m above sea level and is about 100km west of Parkes. Played here 31/07/2011 with $20 visitor green fees.

The Condobolin Sports Club entry is located on Tasker Street which is off the main commercial Bathurst Street strip of town. The club also has bowling greens with friendly members and a decent sports club.

Condobolin has an 18 hole course with great grass greens and fairways. It is a fairly easy course but there a couple of holes with water on them. Its fairly straight except for a dog-leg to the right on the 15th hole. It has a great clubhouse with excellent facilities for such a small town... So come out and have a hit you'll love it...
