I had come back to Corinda for the second time after the first time I had played there, it was quite enjoyable and relaxing as a young and in-experienced golfer. Unfortunatly, the the greenstaff had just fixed up the greens, and had constructed a new and temporary green until the main was under repair. These makeshift greens were terrible, and it was quite funny as a have never putted on a green so bad, although I understood that courses cant repair themselves. The course is small, and wouldn;t recommend to the more highly classed golfer, however, with the company of friends, it can be an enjoyable experience. I got a shock on the first hole (par 3- 80m downhill) when my ball flew about 40m past the hole, underestimated how small it was, haha. The course is nothing special, and would proably visit the Pitch and Putt instead of the course in the future. (The course is also linked to the driving range up the road. Very good, with a variety of chipping areas {chip and run and flop} and a bunker. and practice fairway bunker. With the extra assistance of some TLC, this course could be a nice little 9 hole golf course, however, some more effort needs to be put in place for this to be acheived.

ok little course, most of the of the greens were alright with a few dodgy ones, the fairways were mostly ok with a few dirt patches here and there, which is understandable considering the lack of rain. there were a few interesting holes, most notably the dogleg left, par 4 seventh which challenges you to decide whether to try and cut the corner with the water and bunkers on the left or simply lay up short. a cheap, average 9 hole public course

I started playing this course when a came back to golf after not playing for a few years and it is great for beginers as they will be able to play all types of shots without being intimidated. Played there again on the weekend to regain some confidence after a pretty bad form slump and it did the trick. Although the course is only nine holes and very short, the greens are small and you still need to be accurate with the short irons. Still in better condition than some of the other courses I’ve played lately, but the greens can be a bit variable.

Corinda is a nice short course to practice your short game on. Greens are quiet fast and fairways are quiet dry but still kept in good condition considering how much rain we have had lately. Bring a few spare balls as there are numerous hazards throughout the 9 hole course.

I have been playing at Corinda for a long time and it's also the first course played so I will do hole by hole review on this one. :) distance is approximate.
#1 par 3 - very short 80m par 3 with elevated tee. Probably the best view for a hole in 1.
#2 par 3 -140+ m with OOB on the right. Slice hungry
#3 par 3 - water hazard and bush on the right. Slice hungry
#4 par 4 - dog leg left. 290m. Ponds on the left and OOB on the right. Some said a good drive can cut straight to the green. Pond is also at the back of the green
#5 par 4 - dead straight 270m. Bush on the right, big tree in the left middle fairway to catch your ball. There's also a pond behind this green. Compulsory re-hit if ball hit power lines.
#6 par 4 - short dog left right, coming back. Bush on the right and tall tree restrict taking short cuts. Compulsory re-hit if ball hit power lines.
#7 par 4 - dog leg left, ponds and bunkers on the left. Possible to cut straight to the green depending on marker position against fence.
#8 par 3 - longest par 3 170m+ dead straight. Trees and bushes on the right
#9 par 3 - up hill back to proshop. 90m. Opposition direction of #1.
It may sound easy but any stray tee shots will send you reaching for another ball. Green is rather small so unless your tee short is accurate, strong pitch/chip and putt is required to keep score low on par 3s
Must play pitch and putt, great family outings.
4 stars for my home turf.

Took a first time golfer here and it was fine - easy enough to get a go. My friend even scored a couple of pars so nice for him.
We just rocked up to play and got a game but the guy at the shop did say in all seriousness that we should really book if we wanted to play next time. We had a quiet chuckle to ourselves as we walked to the first tee.

This course is a great place to develop your short game, and you could even score a whole in one. Great course to learn on and also offers "pitch n putt" an evenb shorter course that the kids can play on while you play your round of golf

I played 3 courses this week. Looking for a convenient new golfing home. Played here twice. The greens are very slow, and the second time around I reckon the mower they used on the greens needed adjustment. It was higher on one side, leaving ridges of grass. Makes putting difficult.
The staff are friendly enough. I have trouble with my woods, but hit fairly long with irons. This is the perfect course for me. I don't have the use the woods at all to make par at any stage. The fairways are well kapt and provide nice lies for chipping in on the second shot.

Corinda is a great short course and kept in great condition for the amount of rain they get the first hole is alot like pitch and putt but apart from that the rest of the course is great.

Corinda is a great little course that is kept in pretty good condition year round. Very short holes and tiny greens which will help and beginner or other player wanting to practice short game in on course situations. Quite a new course, run buy the people that own Oxley Golf Driving Range. Also 18 hole pitch and putt at the course.

This was a good course for people who want to play thier short game, no long drives the greens were satisfactory fairways were narrow but clean cut. Was ok for a freindly hit but not so good for a social club.
