Measures 5716m Par 72 with four par 3s ranging from 110-162m, ten par 4s ranging from 272-394m and four par 5s ranging from 416-483m.
Course has 18 small black soils with mostly straight holes (like the 350m uphill 1st or the 394m straight 10th) except the 416m short Par 5 dogleg right 13th (index 13). Basic golf facilities here. Fees are $5
The course is located 5km north of the small town on the Lincoln Highway and is about 102km (or 1 hour) south of Whyalla.
Cowell is a small town of around 900 people on the natural Franklin Harbour which is nearly entirely land-locked apart from the narrow entrance. The course is not special so I’d recommend Whyalla or keep driving to Port Lincoln for your golfing fix.
