Played on 29/01/12 and course condition was pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed the layout and reminds me a bit of Brookwater (not as good condition though). It is not overly long but is hilly so would recommend getting a cart. It’s also very tight so keep it straight (don’t pull out driver on every hole like I did!). Definitely worth a visit, even more so if you get a Scoupon deal.

If you are a genuine golfer, give this course a miss.
Billy goats would fall off the fairways.
The land is just not meant to be a golf course.
Terrible layout, horrible tiny poorly designed greens with bad grass.

How they are going to hold the Vic PGA I have no idea.

Drive 15 minutes to Ballarat and enjoy a real golf course.

No practice green…apparently you can "practice putting on the 18th green." However, there’s just the one hole of course. And if there happen to be people playing up the 18th, bad luck. No practice putting.

Fairways are in worse condition than every $25 public track I have played on in the last year. Tee boxes inconsistent. Greens ridiculously difficult (fast and sloping off) didn’t realise this course was of Sandbelt quality?

Well, it’s not even close. Couldn’t recommend. Avoid.

This has to be the most underrated course in Victoria!

I have played this course many times and it is always in perfect condition. The greens are true, the fairways as lush and wide and the scenery is amongst the best I’ve seen.

With the accomodation package deals they regularly offer, and Daylesford down the road to keep the wife happy, this place is perfect for a golfing weekend.

Highly recommend it!
