The Dalby Golf Club is classed as one of the better golf course west of the great divide. The course has 18 fully irrigated holes with grass greens that assures, even in times of serious drought, the course can continue to cater for golfers of all abilities. Whilst not a difficult layout, a recently completed tree planting program ensures that in years to come, the course will become more challenging.
The licenced club contains poker machine facilities as well as facilities to cater for any sort of functions. Meals are provided on Friday nights for members and bona-fide visitors alike. Contact club manager Warren Denman – bookings are essential.
The pro shop has been capably managed for a number of years now by our resident professional Paul Cook. after the first few holes, i found this course very boring. up and down, up and down. the course could do with more bunkering, more attention to layout and interest. that sounds bad but after playing a few courses around the traps i found it bland

There are a heap of central Qld towns with surprisingly good courses...and this is another of those. What a little beauty. I have played this course quite a few times now and love going back there. The greens are nice and sharp and have their running shoes on. They are pretty nice and flat and the fairways are well maintained. After a bit of a shower, the course is an absolute treat to look at which we all know inspires good golf.
Dalby opens with a little 290 mtr par 4 and it's dead straight and wide, so the big hitters can rip one off the course early. There is also hole 4 (287) and hole 11 (303) to assist the big hitters to get some back. There are some picturesque par threes with the best being 3rd (142) and the 14th (122).
All in all, I love this course and I recommend it highly to those prefering grass greens over the readily available oil greens of central Qld.
