Concord is a very well conditioned course, but I must admit that I expected a lot more given its reputation. I very much enjoyed the dogleg short par 4 13th hole and the picturesque par 4 6th hole. The par 4 10th hole is very unusual and looks more like two par 3s joined together, and quite few other holes were simply "stock".

If this is indeed regarded as Sydney’s 5th best course, then there is a tremendous gap between 4th and 5th, because this course is nowhere near the quality on offer at NSW GC, The Lakes etc.

Worth a visit, but in my humble opinion ultimately it failed to excite or be a particularly enjoyable experience. There are many other better private courses in Sydney to enjoy.

Measures 6185m Par 71 with four par 3s ranging from 141-205m, eleven par 4s ranging from 296-419m and three par 5s ranging from 476-520m.

The course has 69 bunkers and has a medium-tall tree-lined parkland style layout revered by most clubs in Australia.

Concord GC is rated #43 in Australia and #5 in Sydney – behind only NSW, the Australian, Royal Sydney and The Lakes (Australian Golf Digest March 2010). The only course in Sydney’s top 5 with kikuyu grass fairways as the others mentioned above have couch fairways.

Course conditioning is superb with beautiful lush flat couch teebeds and smooth, quick undulating greens.

Highlights here include: the 372m 3rd (index 3) dogleg right with lateral hazard alogn the right to a green guarded by 3 bunkers short right and a bunker left. The 520m 5th (index 9) dogleg right with bunkers on the corner with OOB right to a green guarded by 4 bunkers. The 385m straight 6th (index 2) with a fairway crest and bunker about 240m from the tee to a bunkerless green which slopes sharply to the right with a creek collecting anything right of the green. The 361m 8th (index 13) with a creek across the fairway in front of the green guarded by 2 bunkers. The 379m 10th (inde 6) doglegs 60 degrees right with fairway bunkers leftside and tall thick vegetation along the right with your second shot playing downhill to green guarded by 4 bunkers. The 419m straight 12th (index 7) is the only bunnkerless hole but has large heavily-grassed swales short of the green. The 405m slight uphill 17th (index 4) has 2 fairway bunkers to negotiate with a large dam on the right to a green guarded by 2 bunkers. The 387m 18th (index 1) plays slightly uphill to a green guarded by 3 bunkers.

Played here a few times now and can guarantee you will enjoy a round here! They have open days once a year around either the end of December or early January to keep an eye out for. Great course and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend a round here!

Undoubtedly one of the top courses in NSW, immaculate conditioning, challenging championship layout, good collection of par 4s, nice clubhouse and facilities.

Played here a couple of weeks ago with a mate of mine thats a member.

The course is the best I’ve played at so far, the fairways were perfect and the greens were great. Would love to play here again in the near future.

Fantastic golf course. Got to play with a member one Sunday afternoon. No traffic on the course which made for an even better round.

Greens are flawless. Course conditioning if first rate. Great layout, but not the best I’ve played. If you can get a game go for it.

This would have to be the best designed golf course in Sydney. It is an undulating parkland course - no spectacular coastal views, no clifftop bush settings - but perhaps because of this all the effort has gone into hole design and A1 maintenance. The course is more than 100 years old and like all great traditional layouts, the challenges are subtle, not sledgehammer obvious scrub and intimidating water carries. Take the wrong line and length off the tee on the 3rd and 5th and what looks to be a good shot will roll into the trees. The greens are all consistent in pace and can be lightning fast on some days and just quick otherwise. Every hole is memorable and presents a mental and physical test of your golf.

Played there recently and was impressed by the course condition but you would be expected to be impressed with a course of this status. Would love to say it was the best course I had ever played but it is not. Will have to go back once all the redevlopment work is finished so I can see the whole course in it's championship state.

This is the best inland course in Sydney bar none.

It is meticulously kept, the greens are possibly the best anywhere in sydney and as quick as...

Wonderful charm about the clubhouse.

10 year waiting list?? Get your name down if you can!
