Established in 1958 Elliston measures 2801m Par 36 with two par 3s ranging from 120-181m, five par 4s ranging from 294-335m and two par 5s ranging from 467-471m.
There are 9 black soils with alternate tee mounds to play 18 holes, but really they are mostly on the same tee mound, so it does not change the angle of the hole. Fees are $5
There are some great views from the clubhouse looking over the town and the coastal headlands.
The opening 471m 1st/10th is a slightly downhill teeshot with dogleg left. The layout is interesting which sees you walk past the clubhouse after 4 holes to play holes 5-9.
Elliston is located in Waterloo Bay which is partially protected from the ocean waves by reefs. The town has around 400 people.
