Do yourself a favour…if you can’t get a game at either Middle Ridge or the City GC, get in your car and drive out of town, anywhere other than Eustondale.
Some of QLDs best golf is less than a 2 hour drive away. Do it.
This is not golf…it’s a bad walk.

In competition with the two major golf courses in Toowoomba, this is the most accessible of the three, especially on the weekend.
Currently very dry!!
Tee up throughout the course at the minute because of the lack of rain.
A good 9 hole course if you want to race around in about two hours.
Short but challenging par 4's and varying ranges of par 3's, from very short to reasonably long. You really do not need to pull out the driver on this course unless you want trouble.
All in all a okay alternative to the major two Toowoomba courses.

Eustondale is not Augusta, but it doesn't pretend to be - and that's part of what is appealing. It is 9 holes of accessible golf.
It's set in a nice semi-rural fringe of Toowoomba with horse paddocks on most sides. It is reasonably well manicured without being pedantic - given the paucity of water in the Toowoomba region.
With no membership, the course is excellent for those who can't make golf a regular habit, and those who hate the high priced memberships and restricted competitions that deny the social golfer weekend play.
There are no major challenges if you can hit straight, although poor club selection will still challenge your short game - the greens are fast. The 'front' 9 is out in 33 with a mix of par 3 and 4 holes, 95m through to 310m. The 'back' 9 from different tees is slightly longer overall.
The staff are friendly and without pretention, as are many of the regulars.
Expect to pay about $12 (2006)and similar for club hire if required.

Not a bad practise course to play on. No long par 5 to worry you. $10 to play nine holes pretty good. If you want to play a quick game this would be the place to go. The grounds are hampered by the drought and water restrictions. Need some rain if gets it would make it a lot better.

Very dry course being out there in toowoomba watch out for the electric fence my brother went to get a golf ball and got fried and there are massive cracks in the ground but luckily you can get a drop there but it's still a crap course.
