There are 18 black soil scrapes with mostly straight holes. No water or sand bunker surprises with barely basic golf facilities offered here.
Farrell Flat is a small village of around 120 people approximately 440m above sea level and about 20km east of Clare or 22km south-west of Burra which are also where the closest grass green courses are located from Farrell Flat.
Course access is from Phayre Street off Stavely Street on the eastern edge of the village.
