The course consists of kikuyu fairways, grass greens and mature trees lining the fairways. The course is irrigated and playable all year round. The fairways are reasonably wide and you are assured of a good lie. There are a few water hazards and only 3 bunkers. Unlike it's cousins on the Murray the course is relatively flat and easy to traverse (great for the weary traveller who just wants to unwind with a hit). The condition of the course is fantastic when you take in to account the size of the town that supports it. Well worth a stop over on the way to Melbourne or Sydney.

The leader of the opposition chose this course on our trip rather than one of the more well known courses on the Murray.
And I'm glad she did.
Coming from the drought of C.Q. the greenery made me green with envy. For a small country town it was a case of work hard with what you've got and Finley has achieved.Friendly, affordable(sounds like a B & B) and worth the visit.
