This 9 hole (18 tee) course established in 1954 offers tree lined undulating fairways with magnificent views over the Tamar River. A well maintained country course servicing the local industrial, rural and holidaying population.
The fairways boast good grass growth thanks to a substantial dam close by and a full variety of are lies are presented due to both left and right-hand slopes which also makes for challenging green reading where breaks can be quite deceiving.
The wind has been known to blow here (most likely from the northwest) and always adds interest but mornings are often gloriously quiet as is often the case close to the coast.
As with most country courses in Tassie an honesty box is used for fees.
The clubhouse is open on Saturdays as well Tuesdays after the ladies competition and Wednesday and Friday after Vets. competition.
Visitors are most welcome.
