Goolgowi has 9 black soil greens with natural grass fairways and no bunkers. Course is maintained by the locals and because of the summer heat the course is open during the cooler months of the year and closed from October til Autumn.
There is no hazards on the course and only 3 holes gets watering. Fees are $5. The course is opposite the service station on Zara Street off the Mid Western Highway.
Goolgowi is small village of 300 people located at the intersection of the Kidman Way and the Mid Western Highway about 50km northwest of Griffith and 60km south of Hillston.
