It’s short, greens are the size of dinner plates and it’s boring.
This is a true goattrack of a golf course. Not much thinking is required of this course and there is very little in the way of thought behind each shot.
Longest par 4 is about 360m with the average around 320m.
PROS
- Cheap to play
Cons
- Small Greens
- Short course.
- Boring

Although this course has only 9 holes with different tee positions to make up the 18, I found playing there very challanging and enjoyable.
There is a creek that winds throughout the course and is in play on every hole bar one. Well developed trees suround the fairways that punish stray shots on some tight fairways. The course has an ACR of only 67 but does not have a bunker. Most greens are built up and require good accuracy to hit in regulation, I also found this a down side as it is near impossable to bump and run onto the majority of greens.
This is not a championship course, but the fairways and greens are in great condition, I found the staff and the punters very welcoming and would not hesitate in playing there again if I was ever back in Rockhampton
