Set at the foot of Scenic Hill, the 18 hole course winds it’s way through native tree mixed with the ever present wildlife. You can join the many kangaroos that have claimed the lush kikuyu fairways as their feeding area.
The course itself is a par 71 for men and par 72 for the ladies. Although there are only two bunkers, the course is filled with plenty of trees and is a test of your ability if you stray from the centre of the wide fairways.
The Bent grass greens are a breath of fresh air in this region and they will often test your ability to read with your putter.
There is a fully stocked golf shop PGA professionals Neil Bye and Bryan Trembath on hand to assist you with your golfing needs, buggies and club hire. Neil and Bryan are also available for lessons by appointment.
The Clubhouse offers all the usual amenities of a modern club. Relax with a cool refreshing drink in the viewing lounge overlooking the course with full views of the first tee and the nineth and eighteenth greens.

Measures 5893m Par 71 with four par 3s ranging from 141-189m, eleven par 4s ranging from 281-382m and three par 5s ranging from 481-493m.
Course has medium-sized tree-lined widish kikuyu fairways with slow bent grass greens with rough playing as red dirt under the trees with not much, if any, grass cover. The 9th and 10th fairways are quite lush compared to the other yellow kikuyu fairways.
There are 2 bunkers on the course: one guarding the 141m 7th (index 14) short left and one guarding the 156m 16th (index 15) short right.
Highlights include: the 189m 4th (index 2) with a front-right sloping bunkerless green and OOB airport fence on the far right; the 481m slight dogleg left 9th (index 12) with power lines at the dogleg corner about 240m off the tee and its 30m long undulating front-sloping bunkerless green; the 173m slight downhill 11th (index 11) with its flat raised teebed to bunkerless green with OOB fence far right (looks intimidating from the tee with all the timber around); and the 456m straight 18th plays slightly uphill with the unusually shaped clubhouse in the background.
Played here 24/07/2011 with visitor green fees $23 Wednesday-Sundays or $15 on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Overall the par 5s were of a challenging, but similiar length and the par 3s were quite varied with the best being the 11th.
Having about 17000 people and being the 3rd largest Riverina city, after Wagga Wagga and Albury, I expected a little more challenges and better course conditioning at Griffith. Griffith is located 4km north of the town centre on the way to the airport. Friendly staff and members.
