This golf coarse is best played in late winter. Although it is a short layout, dont ever think par is easy. Long hitters must refrain from hitting driver on all par 4s as tree trouble lurks on all holes. A true chalenge of golf.

There are 18 black soil scrapes with mostly straight holes with the flags visible from the tee mound. Basic golf facilities offered here with a featureless short tree-lined wide layout.
Course access is 5km east taking Stockport Road from the town at approximately 160m above sea level.
Hamley Bridge is a small town around 600 people about 30km north of Gawler.
Closest grass green course is the 9-holer at Kapunda about 25km east or the 18-holer at Balaklava about 35km north-west.
