Played this course last week on an extremely windy day. First up was impressed by the clubhouse facilities secure bage drop new locker rooms etc.Friendly pro in shop too.
The course is very nice, lots of trees compared to my home course (the Dunes)good layout with some very good short par 4’s and very strong par 3’s.
It looked like there were a few bunkers with drainage problems but with the exceptional amount have rain we have had it is not indicative of normal conditions. The bunkers in general were awesome and very easy to play out of, the earlier comments about the bunkers being awful were probably coming from a bad bunker player. These are as good as any of the sandbelt courses of which I have played most.

All up a good test of golf, in very good condition with very nice facilities.
The greens were in fabulous condition if a little slow on the day

I can’t believe more people have not submitted a review on this course. For those unable to get onto some of the exclusive private sandbelt courses, this is the next best thing.

I played the course over summer, before the heatwave and perhaps some of the bunkers were a little hard under foot, that is my only criticism. The course is a gem and offers a variety of holes from long to short holes, with accuracy the key.

This is a nice course with picturesce holes and semi-challenging layout. Fairways were in good condition overall with several holes letting the course down. The bunkers were atrocious with only one inch of soft sand over a very hard base. Nearly snapped my sand wedge hitting out of these.

However the biggest gripe is the greens were corded before we played with no courtesy call to ask whether we minded. Shame on the golf shop.

Cranbourne is an excellent tree lined course that is superbly maintained. It's greens are immaculate and pure. Whilst not overly long Cranbourne is still a good test for golfers of all abilities with it's tree lined fairways and bunkering as well as several water hazards keeping golfers on their toes. The clubhouse and pro shop are also excellent. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

I have played this course many times with trade days and over the years seen many positive changes. Every year it was something new realy adding to the layout, Local housing saw a need to manage storm water and the course was a natural channel, a lot of work by Melb Water was done adding to it's challenge. With easy access from the Fwy it will be in high demand.

Its Par 3's are interesting and solid Par 4's too, grass coverage was always very good with true greens.
