The heavens opened and it rained for three days. The locals are overjoyed but no golf played in Hay.
The course is flat, with oil/sand scrapes, bare fairways and apparently quite long.
Honour system for "green" fees. $6 for 9 and $10 for 18 holes. No hire carts available.

There are 18 black soil greens with mostly dry kikuyu fairways. Most holes are straight.
Course is located in South Hay on the southern banks of the Murrumbidgee River which is visible from a few holes. Course can be found about 500m west of the Sturt Highway/Cobb Highway roundabout junction on the Sturt Highway on the way to Balranald.
Hay is a western Riverina town of about 3000 people about 150km west of Griffith. Basic golf here with no bunkers. Fees are $10
