I have to agree with Scarlett, I played there yesterday and found it very difficult to refer to it as a golf course. I’m usually pretty easy going with where I play and with the condition of a course, but Huon Heights is an absolute disgrace. If you hit the ball in the fairway you are rewarded with three-inch-long grass, pine needles and sticks. The “tee” areas are ridiculously hard (I had to improvise on par 3s by simply hitting my ball off the ground as I couldn’t get a tee into it), and I’ve seen fairways that would be easier to putt on than those greens.

Hello everybody!!
i have so much to say about this golf course!!
because my farther owns it and i have been living at the golf course my whole life!!
that is 14years!!
and every tee, green, fairway and everything else on the golf course is worth the drive!!
we get people from all aournd playing at our golf course and its such an awsome experaince watching everybody come up the hill after having a great time playing at my golf course with huge smiles on their faces!!!
i wouldnt call it a course for beginners id call it a course for people who want to have a fun time! people who want to play a real game! or maybe just a group of people who want to bring their familys around and have a relaxing day and have a great time!!
so if you want to have a great time i recomend this golf course!!
trust me i would know!!

I have and as golf courses go, it’s a joke. It’s basically someones ‘backyard’ 9-hole golf course, although I hesitate to use the term course, perhaps track would be better. The fairways are at least 50% weeds, the tees just part of the fairways and the greens did not have consitent grass coverage. This is a course for beginners who want to see what hitting golf balls is like and nothing more. The only interesting hole is the 7th (or 8th maybe, I wiped it from my memory) which was a (very) short downhill par5, over a creek and onto a smallish green. If you’re looking for the real golf course in Hounville, it’s out the other side of town.

Scarlett & benjintheengine just happen to be two of the very few twits who have been nabbed for not paying their green fees and rather than face up to their own short comings they choose to cowardly attack the course to hide their embarrasment. Btw benjintheengine, June is the middle of winter in the Huon…the Tees would be as soft as your brain power. The Huon Heights Golf Course is one of the most highly regarded 9 hole courses in the state. benjintheengine, if you cant keep out of the hazards, take up fishing!!! I challenge both of you to ring the course and pass on your concerns.
