Nice setting and some quite challenging Par 4s. Trees aren’t really tall enough or dense enough to get over/around. Greens are tough but generally fair. Layout is tad all over the place / up and down. Overall condition needs some attention.

I played Cromer yasterday as a guest and was really impressed with the course. It was in very good condition overall and was very tough. The tee shots are crucial as the fairways are tree lined and bunkered so you have to really think about what your doing off the tee. Also the greens are big and different pin positions can make the hole play totally different. I would love to play the course again now I know to play for position more often with an iron from the tee. Even though I never scored well it was such a beautiful setting I really enjoyed it. Hats off to the lucky members!

nice course and worth playing if you can get a game. Some great tee spots and some good holes. fairways and greens were not in great condition, a bit disappointing but not too bad. i’d play again.

Played Cromer twice in the past year. It’s a fantastic course, which can challenge golfers of all abilities.

Plenty of great risk / reward holes, with some clever bunker placings, and water obstacles. Local knowledge important, especially for approach shots to greens. Pin placement can also change the nature of the course dramatically.

Fantastic location as well.

The course could be a little better sign posted, as the holes jump around all over the place. The tee next to green you’ve just hit to isn’t always the next hole to play off!

Recently played Cromer and was very impressed with the new course, certainly was hard but a very beautifully put together track which covers all aspects that a good course should have.

Played in their Open Day today, course was in fine nick. Greens were firm and fast. fairways were in great nick. Very impressed overall, would love to go back and have another go at playing this course.

Played here recently as a guest and found the general condition of the course to be pretty average. Apparently its a Group 1 course. The course looked fantastic, but on closer inspection found the greens to be in poor condition and slow. The bunkers are bad in so man ways. My ball plugged in 3 fairway bunkers and I had to play a tough sand wedge out! The course is now really difficult. I hope they can get the course back in good condition soon.

Played Cromer recently for the first time in years.

They have done renos and added bunkers and creeks and stuff making it super hard as the course was already narrow and tree lined.

Good place but you will need to play well to enjoy.
