There are 9 black soil scrapes with no bunkers and straight holes. Basic golf facilities here with the course set against the mine and the Mallee scrub.
Iron Knob is a small village of about 100 poeple on the Eyre Highway where the closest grass green courses are at Whyalla (50km south-east) and Port Augusta (70km north-east).
