Jamestown measures 5796m Par 70 with four par 3s 124-199m, twelve par 4s ranging from 283-405m and two par 5s ranging from 473-483m.

Jamestown is a small town of 1500 people about 45km south-west of Peterborough and 70km north of either Burra or Clare . I should warn you that it does get a little chilly in the cooler months as the course is approximately 500m above sea level.

Despite the scorecard showing a picture of grass greens the course has 18 black soils which are oiled with generally straight holes like the 361m slightly downhill 1st (index 11).

There are a few gentle dogleg holes like 305m 2nd (index 13), 302m 5th (index 12), 360m 7th (index 3), 363m 9th (index 7), 377m 12th (index 9) and the 384m 13th (index 1). There are no bunkers on the course. Basic golf facilities. Fees are $5

Course access is about 8.5km south-west of the town itself taking the B80 for 3.5km then turn into a dirt road called Fishers Trough Road for 3km, then turn into a bumpy dirt/gravel road called Range Road for another 2km to reach the clubhouse. Clare or Burra would be the closest courses with grass greens.
