Maggie is a short, tight track that requires precision shotmaking and a very heavy putter. The scenery here is phenomenal, rivalling Laguna Quays... but that is where the comparison ends. Given the small land parcel it is on, the design is a fair and challenging test of golf however don't bother hitting the driver as there is high risk and little reward!! The greens are very small, very slow and grainy.. the occasional downhill downgrain putt will take off and bewilder you. I personally dislike going twice around the same nine but two sets of tees change the holes slightly. It pays to take a "rock club" as conditions off the grassy areas are very rugged. The 5/14th is a unique hole requiring a flick sand wedge downhill to a treacherous green... It was quite amusing watching low markers walk off with bogeys and doubles on a 70m hole!!!!
