Good course, however i dont like having a heart attack half way through my round. If one was a mountain goat you would enjoy this course alot better. better drainage and perhaps a better defined cut. The layout and overall course difficulty were excellent, or perhaps seeming more diffucult as to the fatigue factor.
def worth a look providing you’re up for a tiring walk.

how easily pleased are some golfers, a country course at best, yes the fairways were green but they were also 2 inches long….not a chance this course should be compared to Royal….im sure even the members would agree.

Great location and course for travelling golfers on their way from Tasmania’s central highlands to Hobart.Very friendly members. Just don’t leave a club around the greens: it can be a long walk back!

New Norfolk Golf Club is situated in Southern Tasmania in a beautiful area known as the Derwent Valley. Simply follow the Derwent River to the township of New Norfolk.

The green fees are extremely reasonable at $11.00 for 18 holes.

The course boasts the greenest fairways in Tassie.

Magnificent course in a fantastic setting. From start to finish well laid out and executed. Would have liked to ahve seen better and easier to see signage however all in all a enjoyable round. Signature hole is the 5th down the valley, do yourself a favour and get out there - you wont be dissappointed! Havent rated it awesome as I think it needs some better drainage off the fairways and if you get a bit wayward can be really punishing.
