Loved the South course, great location. Now that the parking has been rectified there is not doubt that I will come back. For those who have expirienced the parking issue there it was a real problem, but management have overcome this issue by giving all golfers a receipt that they put onto the car dash board which intern gives the user unlimited parking for the day.

There are some huge positives for the South course at the city of Adelaide golf links, with the location being excellent and the fairways usually in fantastic condition. The view from the elevated tee on the 3rd is exceptional, and you really want to hit a good shot from up there.
The greens however have rarely been in good condition. They are usually very long, causing the ball to bobble around the place. At times your round can be quite slow being a public course in the city, and I believe that bookings are now essential for the South course. Plus, with many holes running parallel to roads, the chance of hitting a car is rather high, hey Matt.
Despite the criticism, there are a couple of nice holes. The pick would be the par 3 16th, a downhill hole to a large two-tiered green that can see some very tricky putts. The par 4 17th with a huge downhill slope on the dog-leg and the par 4 14th are also both worth a mention.
A staple course for many in Adelaide due to its location, at the end of the day it isn’t a bad course, and if they got the greens right it could be a very good one.

Right in the heart of picturesque Adelaide, surrounded by parks and bordered by the River Torrens. There are two 18 hole courses and a delightful par 3 course. The North Adelaide North cousre is a relatively short course but it has very narrow fairways and small challenging greens. The highlight is the south course with two of the most stunning elevated tees blocks anywhere. The 3rd hole par 4 and the 7th hole par 5 are trully the stuff postcards are made of. The course is not without its challenges with its treelined fairways and many elevated greens. It is a true pleasure to walk around and only minutes from the centre of the city.

The courses are Public and just 15 minutes walk from the CBD with great views over the City and hills. There are 2 eighteen hole courses and a par 3 but the best Club type course is the south course which for the money is great value and will give you some good challenges for all but the very low handicappers.

This course has some amazing views of the city with the adelaide hills as a backdrop, and is located just a couple of minutes out of the city centre. Apart from that there is not much that can be said for this course. The greens are small, slow and most contain little or no break. The fairways are long, not well kept and the grass is plasticy. I could not help but realise that almost all the par 4's, particulary the stretch from 9-13 are almost all exaclty the same - about 330 m straight with no bunkers. U could easily go round hitting a driver or 3-wood then 7 iron to wedge on every par 4. Overalll lovers of golf shoud hate this course but if u want a nice walk or are playing with frist timers this course will do the job. The par 3 16th is about the only good hole, however the tier on the green is almost overexaggerated - about a 5 ft drop from one side to the other. Overall a bad course with the occasional nice view.
