A very nice country golf course.
Not long, not too tough but with enough interesting holes to make it an enjoyable day.
Hitting out of the caves in unique and well worth experiencing
Well worth a game if you down that way..

Played 12/10/05
Really enjoyed playing here and the imagination that has gone into the course.
Squeezed between the river and the hills, about a third of the tees are up in the cliffs, nestled in among the greenery and the boulders! Hit off a driving range type mat from way up and watch as your ball sails out onto the very neat fairway. I actually asked the leader of the opposition to take a photo of a Qld hacker teeing off in a cave!
Greens are true and though the course is not long it's tricky. About four or five greens surround the clubhouse, great for regular pit stops.
Very enjoyable course(played O.K. too so that helps)Hire a cart and relax.Three and a half if I could.

As member of Nowra Golf Club I would like to introduce you to the prettiest course on the N.S.W South Coast. The course is not exceptionally long, however there are such things as raised greens, quite a few trees and smallish greens. There are five par 3s, the 17th being 202 metres index 3 for men, par 4 for women. The shortest par 3, hole 8, is interesting as the tee is one one side of a hill and the green is on the other side but only 100 metres bewteen. Next is the 9th, which looks out of what seems to be a cave towards the club house and the river Shoalhaven, with the fairway below. The only par 5 is the 14th a slight dogleg left after the second shot to a tight green with OB close to the left edge. Followed by 15, a par four 410 metres, locally know as the "Road Hole" and is index 1. The par 3 16th has be the signature hole. There are golf carts available. The 19th hole is well appointed with meals and refresments available. Also of interest is that most Tuesdays there is a Vets Comp, for both men and women, shotgun start either 0830 or 0900, best to phone.

Agree with thechopper. Found greens quite difficult and what you gain in quickly reaching the greens are lost on them. Great to drop in, gets crowded at weekend, very relaxed dress code. Proshop very helpful. Value for money.
