A shorter course that is in a very well kept state.
I found the layout a little all over the place but I guess it is expected being on a smaller block of land.
Not a lot of sand traps about and the odd water hazard make this course easier for those learning the game.
All up a fun course to play, right next to the Barwon river.

This is a very short and narrow golf course, located on the left bank of the Barwon River, gliding pelicans and ibis are part of it's charm.
Its a very enjoyable course for beginners. There no main difficulties except for a couple of water feature and bunkers are rare.

Measures 3211m Par 45 (12 holes) with four par 3s ranging from 120-188m, seven par 4s ranging from 238-360m and the 439m 5th with Barwon River wetlands on the right from tee to green, a large embankment dam 200m from the tee on the left with a small bunker over the back of the green.
Course is lush does not drain well after rains and can get sloshy. Greens are quite slow, teebeds are bare and bumpy in places. Except 1st, 4th and 5th greens all greens are bunkerless. Some short par 4s here, but overall not a very challenging course layout.
Highlights include: 355m 4th with a greenside bunker right and water hazard on the right from 100m from the green. Good views north and west over the wetlands. The par 5 5th hole is a beauty with water to negotiate from tee to green. The 360m 12th is a slight dogleg left with greenside bunker left provides a testing finish to par.
Played here 8/8/2010 and paid $12 green fees for 12 holes. To play the 12 holes and holes 13-18 (which are holes 1-6) again it measures 4888m Par 69…
Good value, but course needsa bit work to quicken its greens and perhaps add a few bunkers to make it challenging. Some picturesque holes along the wetlands.
